Act One Ice Cream Parlor — Restaurant in Concrete

WOW you got to come here. One Act is just an absolutely outstanding destination place in Concrete Washington. Come and meet Fred. He is just a real joy o, he makes any day special. He listens very carefully to what you want and then makes recommendations and then he throws in an extra little idea. for example, " You want chocolate,try this one. It has chocolate brownies inside of the mint ice cream." I just thought that was just so cool how he just extends your experience.

For my husband , I ended up getting some really nummy Rustic Bakery cookies. I got the lemon shortbread one to take home.

Just a bunch of extra little touches that make this a place to come. Have memories, sit down, relax and then take home something, a little bit of joy to remember this occasion.

Valerie is outstanding woman. Come back and see her local. Artist gallery in the back of the shop. There's a conference room back here where you can have parties. Tomorrow a local church has babysitting in the here. While the parents are watching movies in the beautifully redone theater.

I mean there's so much love and care and beautiful craftsmanship that has been put into this place. Give yourself a treat and make it effort to stop by. On Friday, Saturday and Sundays there are music or theater events. you can rent the hall or theater out for special occasions.

Valerie and Fred live life to the fullest and they're always looking out for new ideas to bring home . They take off and travel in March and November.

Come on over all the other months and give yourself some wonderful Christmas holiday cheer, spring time fellowship, summer films, fall concerts. There's just a whole bunch of things going.

The neighborhood is just really enriched because of Fred and Valeri. During covid people couldn't really get out of their houses and the theater closed for a while, but the community spirit didn't fade. Valerie invented drive up popcorn. you can see a picture of it in the gallery. the cars lined up down that main Street just for blocks and blocks and blocks and the sheriff came by to see what was going up. The sheriff ended up handing out popcorn for an hour himself.

All the money was donated for the local community action center, which is sponsors activities and free meals and counseling and all kinds of activities here in the concrete area. So come be part of the community.

A wonderful, family-owned establishment with a wide selection of unique ice cream flavors to satisfy any craving! Staff was patient and hospitable with ice cream samples as well. I had the “Jumping Jersey Cow”, a peanut butter and chocolate ice cream with crushed Reese’s Pieces. Flavor was rich in depth and a pleasant surprise!

An old-time ice cream shop that's well worth a visit! So many delicious flavors, and several unique ones that I've never seen before. We had waffle cones warm off the griddle! I had a delicious chocolate-brownie combination, and my husband tried the licorice (one of the unique flavors). Both were very good! They also had cinnamon ice cream that I may just have to try later.
