Cascada Cabins — Hotel in Creede

Marc and Mary, we declined to stay at your property after experiencing a terrible check-in experience, reviewing the room’s condition and realizing the rest of the property was closed and was not up to its billing on the internet. We arrived at approximately 3 pm on Sunday, August 9th. There were no instructions about checking in and obviously there is no check in office. We had to track down the property manager by phone which took over 45 minutes. While waiting we realized your restaurant had been shuttered though there was nothing stated on the internet nor any communication from the property management about this closure. Next, it was not stated anywhere that your property was adjacent to a commercial concern which was right next to our room which was totally unacceptable. Last, once we were able to access the room it was not well kept, and the room was completely unacceptable and clearly not what you state on the internet. The bottom line is we went ahead and drove another 4 hours to Crested Butte and required me to double book our stay. I have sent two emails to you and you have not responded. I tried to resolve this matter before I posted this review, but you have left...

July '21 Well, we went back and the cabins remain one of our favorite places to stay. Same as last year which means they remain at 5 stars.

Not sure why this didn't post a month ago!! The cabins are large and well appointed. Large concrete pad outside of each cabin makes it easy to park motorcycle cycle with trailer. Queen bed and a set of bunkbeds. Nice shower pressure. Fully stocked kitchen with microwave, and full sized refrigerator. Best cable TV that we had during our 13 day motorcycle trip. Owner's are very personable. We ate breakfast at MJ's about a 1/2 block north. That was also good. Downtown is a hike (7-8 blocks). We'll definitely...

The cabins were very nicely outfitted to include a queen bedroom and a set of bunkbeds. Kitchen and eating area were large and we had everything we needed. Super water pressure in the shower and nice towels. The large concrete pad outside was perfect for parking the motorcycles. Best cable TV of our 12 day ride. There's a nice place to grab breakfast 1/2 block away. (Due to COVID the restaurant at the cabins was closed.) Overall a great...
