AmeriVu Inn & Suites - Crookston — Hotel in Crookston

while the hotel was clean, and we have no complaints about our stay, it was all that transpired after that has made the decision easy to NEVER stay at ANY Cobblestone ANYWHERE- EVER again!! I was charged double+ for our room. Traveling as much as I do I am aware that at times the extra charges are reversed at a later date. I waited patiently for these charges to be reversed and the money to be refunded back to me. (So patiently I almost forgot about them.) When I tried to call the hotel directly I (as of this moment) have yet to talk to someone from the hotel. I gave up after about 45 minutes of calling. I tried the toll free number which connected me to a reservation line. I explained my problem and she connected me to corporate. Voicemail. I was directed to leave my name and number and someone will get back to me. I called again directly to the hotel I stayed at and again.... NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE!!!! How can you run a business if you don't answer the phone!!!! I guess if you want to pay the same price as a 5 star luxury hotel in downtown Minneapolis... wait... MORE than that... then be TOTALLY ignored, stay at a Cobblestone... as for me......

This was my first time staying at a Cobblestone, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was in Crookston for a former student's graduation from Minnesota-Crookston, and the location was extremely convenient. There were three things about the room that I didn't appreciate. 1) It took a long time to figure out the two remotes needed to turn on the TV and find a station. 2) I immediately found the make-up towel to use. However, one of the white hand towels in the room had powder make-up on it already (which I don't use). 3) When I was collecting my items to move out, I found a jacket that had been left by a previous customer on the top of the clothing rack. (I had been really tired when I arrived the night before and hadn't noticed it, but I would have expected the cleaning staff to find it when they were cleaning up.)

Everything else was cleaned, so I did not have general cleaning concerns.

I agree with another reviewer that the breakfast was excellent.

I would definitely stay at another Cobblestone and appreciate that they are in many places I would...

I believe this hotel is recently under new owners/management AND they were amazing!! The next door hotel gave our ADA room away before we got there at 10:30pm, saying they didn't think we were still arriving...so we called the Cobblestone and they had an ADA room for 2 nights AND for our troubles at the other hotel gave us a 10% discount. The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. FREE hot breakfast each morning with good coffee all day!! The "other" hotel advertised free breakfast but we were told only pastries in the morning since they only had 9 rooms filled..and one in our room!!! The Cobblestone is the place to stay in Crookston, MN and we will definitely always stay there when traveling for work or leisure. The pool & hot tub were super clean too!! They were even able to accommodate a co-worker's room as in travel all the employees stay in the same place. Thanks again Cobblestone for being there when we so desperately needed a room. You were so friendly and your hotel is beautiful. See...
