Express Inn — Hotel in Dallas

Stay away if you value your health and safety! I don’t know where to begin with this one. My expectations were already low since it’s a highway motel but it was atrocious. Right outside the entrance , the street is lined with homeless people catcalling anyone who passes. After sundown it gets worse with all kinds of sketchy activities. We tried to go to the gas stop (100ft) and got scared because they started coming up to us and honking so ran back. Should’ve known from the bulletproof glass at the “lobby” when we checked in. Also no refunds, so think ten times before paying. We regretted as soon as we did. This (pics) is what I was greeted with as soon as I opened the door, along with a strong odor. Spider webs on the ceilings, stained towels/sheets, no decent toiletries (one pack of shampoo that is given as a tester in stores). At least they had hot water! From the bed we got bug bites of some sort. The price is $70+ tax which is roughly $80. So take your money and go somewhere that may be half decent even if you have to pay 10-20 extra. We only stayed because we needed to be at the dealership nearby early in the morning. Consider...

Nightmare , no bueno . Worst experience ever. Long story short my bed had bed bugs and spiders. Dirty floors. One towel. Mattress smell like some type of chemical. Microwave didn't work. Nightmare. I figured out the problem of bed bugs on the second night . I brought it up to their attention with solid proof. Staff more concerned about refunding me my money. Nightmare. Stay away. Should of stayed in my truck. Nightmare. Not a safe area. Nightmare.

I rate this hotel -100. These people are very rude it was nothing done for him to treat us any kind of way. We tried to renew the room they want to try to act like booked for a whole month when it’s been empty while we was there. I don’t think anybody should experience the rudeness they be having.the owner of man he is very annoying, he will rush people out the room.when we get out the room to wait on our Uber he kept bothering us when somebody going to pick us up. We been causing no issue to the man trying not to argue.they can keep that bug...
