We got in around 415 and got checked in, fine. Parking was ok for us, but possibly not as many slots as other sites as there is no parking behind. Building appears to be a little older, but everything looks updated. The third floor room we were in was relatively freshly re-done, one of the only indications of age was a chip in the tub. Everything was pretty clean. The only real clean gripe is the microwave and fridge were not spic n span cleaned, but nothing gross. We opted for the extra cost mountain view room, but that view is across the parking lot, over a Japanese style restaurant, a 4/6 lane highway, and, importantly, due west. After dinner, the sun blazed into the room (after the torrential downpours let up) like a large orange heat lamp, until setting. Beautiful, after, though. ||||TV signal is satellite, and of good quality, although the aforementioned torrential downpour knocked it out, of course. Several other times, signal dropped out for no apparent reason, but it was never out for more than a couple seconds, so it didn’t bother us. Extensive channel selection. Internet is AT&T and ok enough. About 14 Mbps down and 11-12 Mbps up, with no real connectivity issues noted. A streamed baseball game was nearly flawless, with only some slight picture pixilation a couple of times.||||Bed is a mattress on a base and very firm, which I prefer. Linens were all decent quality. All the prefilled shower supplies were filled.||||Breakfast was a small letdown. Probably because this was a Saturday morning, and some of the bread things were a bit older. The biscuits were ok, gravy from a can the same as always. Coffee was just average for an HI, which means not...
Read moreAfter staying at hotels across the World I have never ever been treated like this anywhere! My husband is a disabled veteran and was refused a handicap room as we booked the handicap room thru a third party! We were forced to pay full price again even though we had proof we already paid for a non refundable handicap room! Ashley the rude girl at the front desk should never be allowed to work with the public. She purposely gave us a room on the 2nd floor as far down away from the elevator as she could find. This after already telling us there were only 2 rooms staying at the entire hotel and there was no free hot breakfast as advertised. |My disabled husband was waiting in the car and I went down to explain to her he can’t walk that far and that’s when she demanded we pay again to get a handicap room on the first floor. The manager was called and she wasn’t a whole lot better and also said we had to pay double. I will be taking this further as this is total discrimination against a disabled person. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone and wouldn’t ever stay there again when we visit our family...
Read moreStaff was very accommodating, they went over and above making sure that I had a working shower for the 2 days I was there.
The opinion is for the remodeling of the rooms. If you are going to overhaul rooms then all things must be overhauled.
The room was spotless, clean linens, but the bathroom shower fixtures were original, rusted and not able to turn or move them. The desk clerk was your savior in applying she WD40 and a pair of channel locks to lift the shower button.
I was given a room key to the next room to shower in so I could leave and make my Granddaughters baby shower in time. When I returned later in the evening, it was then fixed. Also the coffee maker...
