An OK place to spend the night while on a trip. In our travels, while we occasionally pass through Deer Lodge, this year to make our plans work out Indian Creek was our first nights stop. The routes in the park are all gravel, the sites are close but there was a picnic table for all the sites I observed. The site itself was pretty level, water and power close, 30 and 50 amp, but the sewer connection, and we had full hookups, was too far away for our neighbors RV to use it at their site. They dumped at the dump station at the entrance across from the office. According to the park paperwork, there are 72 sites and 2 large grass tent areas. A building in between the tent area has showers and laundry. WiFi is available but as with many locations you will be limited on what you can do. I'd say just use your own hotspot. Negatives- dust from said dirt and gravel roads. And, a lot of noise from the adjacent I-90. We were in a space near the entrance but I think the sites closest to the freeway would be very noisy. We might stay again for a night.

Great little campground right off the freeway. I got quite a bit of freeway noise during the day, but I picked the spot nearest the freeway, so that’s on me. At night though I ran the fan and that drowned out the noise. Nice piece of lawn outside the trailer. The restrooms were great. Specific to me, I’m an amputee of the left leg below the knee. The accessible shower is better than most hotels I’ve been to. Major selling point for me. I make this trip once a year and will be back next June.

Nice find in a great town. Stayed 4 nights. Great staff and a very clean and maintained park. Laundry facilities were clean and inexpensive, $1.50 wash, $1.75 dry. Only two of each available on our visit. A 3rd was out of service, but we had no issues with availability. Stayed in space 45, nice shade tree but close to the hwy. Can be a bit noisy overnight. Old downtown is a few minutes away. The Old Montana State prison is a must. Entrance fee includes 4 museums. Would definitely come back.

Don't leave your spot to get dinner or they'll give it away! We checked in at 6:00 pm located our assigned spot. Then left to grab a bite to eat for dinner. We returned right after 7:00 pm to find someone had taken our spot. Went to the office but they had closed at 7. Called and left a message at the number provided. Asked for a return call to let us know what other spot would be available for us. Waited. Called the other phone number provided left same message. By 9:00 pm pulled into an open spot. Next morning asked office what happened. They had given away our spot because we didn't have a pull car to leave our rv behind while we got dinner. The person working asked me "What do you want me to do? Comp you some of it?" I went out and discussed it with my husband. We decided to ask for half of the money back. Because the internet didn't work either. I went back in and said I would split it with them and asked for $20 back. The manager came over and asked me to now tell her what happened. Told me it wasn't their fault they gave my spot away it was mine for not leaving my rv there when I got dinner. Also that I could have just taken someone else's spot. Rather than waiting around for 2 hours for my call to never get returned. After telling me she wasn't going to make good on the offer to comp some of my cost. She stood there condescendingly questioning me. Finally after I answered all her questions about what they could have done to avoid causing the hassle and inconvenience. She reluctantly just refunded my credit card because she didn't know how to work their credit card machine and only...

Very clean facility. Staff is exceptional, definitely five stars, over the top hospitality. The bathrooms were clean and there were plenty of stalls and showers. You have to have a code to get in. I only did tent camping, The grassy tent camping area (there are no tent 'pads') was very clean and very well kept up. I think I paid about 30 bucks. Very pleased and would recommend and would come back. It is July and High season here, the cheapest hotels are a hundred bucks or more so this was perfect for my little eat-sleep-shower-go again moment. The place seemed pretty packed out with rvs, however I was the only tent camper so there was plenty of room and plenty of choice for me. I chose a place in the shade there are a couple of shade trees if you get there early. I never saw anybody in the bathroom so that was surprising for a place that was so busy. There are a lot of campers as well as RVs, it's a diverse group. They were quiet definitely after 7:00 p.m., I saw dogs around but everybody was very well behaved. Not a lot of screaming and yelling and all that fun stuff. It is not their fault, there's been a lot of rain up here, and from South Dakota through Montana I've been dealing with mosquitoes, so if you come here this summer there's been a lot of rain I recommend you have insect repellent or some way of keeping them off of you. And your pets. They are quite severe. But yeah, this place gets nothing but love from me and my little poochie that I was taking from Atlanta to Seattle....

Came here to stay for a month or more, early May 2020. We are RV full-timers & have been seasonal Montanans for many years. Initially, we needed a nice place to wait out the MT 14 day quarantine as new arrivals from out of state. We definitely found that & more! Penny and company here are awesome! (Thanks for the end spot that we love!!!) I very much appreciate their commitment to state & CDC recommendations & safety for all their campers. We know they really care about our safety & comfort. They keep a beautiful clean campground. Great grounds; Amazing views. There's a nice little nature trail - we either sit by the pond & look at the birds, or walk along a horse pasture & to the county ball parks & fairgrounds. With few people out these days, it's been heaven for us to have a nice walk every day, basically all to ourselves. Driving around, there is so much public land nearby to explore. After nearly a month, we've barely scratched the surface of what this area has to offer: Warm Spring WMA, the Yellowstone Trail, driving the dirt roads in the National Forest... For outdoor enthusiasts & birders like us, there's so much to see in this area! We feel so very at home here & are so happy to have found this campground. I'll be sorry when we have to leave, but know we will definitely spend...
