we had reservations for a 1 night stay on our way from Houston to CA. We stayed at this location because it was the 7 or so hours from our previous stop. The 2 workers sitting behind the desk looked at each other as to which one was going to stand first to help us. The guy stood up as the girl was into what ever it was she was looking at in her hand. Not much of a personal greeting. I had to go to my car a time or 2 for different things, one being that the lights on my dash had come on and I had my mechanic on the phone telling him what was going on. The workers never stood up to see or say anything. Maybe a stretch of the neck to see who it was. No words said. As I'm on the phone with the mechanic, looking under the car and in front of it, there was a lot of trash and stuff in the bushes and the ground. I made the comment of "Lord, I hope there are no needles down here" and he was in disbelief of this. I wish I had taken pictures of it. It looked nothing like the nice pictures online. When I had come back in, again neither of the workers stood up and said anything. they just kind of stretched the neck to look. The breakfast was ok, the sausage was overcooked, the coffee was hot, the room was decent, we liked that they had the Dove bath products in the shower and bathroom, price was good and the location was where we needed after a 6-7 hour drive. We werent there long enough to use the gym or pool area, so I cant comment there. When we checked out in the morning, the worker/manager asked how our stay was. I hesitated in answering, then said it was ok. He asked why the hesitation, and I said it wasnt the best stay. This isn't the only Holiday Inn Express that we have stayed at on this 30 day trip. We stayed at 1 prior to to this one, and 3 since then and still many more to go before we actually get home. But it is the only one that the workers didnt acknowledge us coming or going during the stay and it will be the only one we will not stay at on our return trip. I will find a different location or different hotel...

My wife had made reservations online with a different card than I posses so she wouldn’t let me check in unless I had it. I added a new card to the system and I went to my room. In fairness to the hotel itself, the room was clean and comfy. There was a neighboring room with a guest talking on the phone very loud. And when I say loud, I mean I could hear every word he said, cussing and yelling.I gave it about 45 minutes then I called down and asked if there’s anywhere else she could move me and was told nothing else available. I asked if she could atleast ask the other guest to quiet down so we could sleep, it was well after midnight. Nothing was ever done and I know this cause again, I could hear every work he said and he was never interrupted from his conversation. This went on for another hour and if I wasn’t so tired I’d just left to find another hotel. Then some street racers/drifters were doing donuts and drifting in the road in front of the hotel with their loud pipes. This went on a good 20 minutes and no one from the hotel confronted them and cops never called. Finally got to sleep when they dispersed, then my upstairs neighbors starting doing either aerobics or building a deck at 7am. I’m sure it was a loose headboard situation but it just added to my lack of sleep. As I left the hotel in the morning I noticed one of those cars with the pumped up kicks was parked under the cover by the front door. So I guess why they didn’t run them off, it was connected with someone that worked there. I’m short, do yourselves a favor and stay elsewhere, there’s a Hampton next door. Also, the fridge and the WiFi didn’t work. It said it’s as connected but...
