After growing tired of the never ending condescending attitude from Andy and Todd we posted a review. I was then called 3 times by 2 different numbers by Andy. Then received an email when I didn't answer quick enough. ( they NEVER answer their phone). I called back and was told we had 2 days to remove our camper . Told our deposit would be refunded. " we don't have checks at the office, it was mailed and tracking said friday( mailed on sunday?) No surprise no deposit. Called us AFTER we told them to stop harassing us. We did as they asked and left . No parking roads are narrow. Tiny sites. Sewer smell , water off everyday we were there. Playground full of shoes debris and downed branches. This place is a scumhole. Daddy bought little snowflake Andy a campground Andy messing it up. This guy has no business running a campground. Don't be fooled like we were. Off to court we go now! Reason for throwing us out? By leaving a review I " launched a multi proned attack on his staff and ruined a tour they had " ( Never contacted any staff or tour!" You can't walk anywhere without people warning you. Staff all make fun of each other. Sloppy todd called one day asked why mycamper was locked?? Its like a weird trailer park Boys/ family guy soap opera. Staff also creeping around your camper early mornings no notice at all. BTW we could hear all them talking badly about residents. Unprofessional!! Save your money don't invest here because if snowflake Andy gets mad he kick you out to. We are a family of 3 quiet don't drink or smoke and no guests . Been camping all over US, NEVER...
Read moreStarting off, Todd was great. Great person.
When arriving, we noticed that the dead lock on our cottage wouldn't lock so we talked to Todd and he switched our cottage. In the 2nd cottage, the ac wasn't working so we switched cottages again (After unpacking in the first cottage, Todd help carry our bags from the first to the third).
We finally got settled in and started looking around.. it was disgusting. There were dead spots in the floor (kitchen walkway and in bathroom). The carpet in the living area was sickening, so was the sofa (I would not sit on couch without sheeting). Dead flies in the bathroom along with built up dirt in corners and on base boards (throughout cottage).
Swimming area: Chipped cement around pool and the stairs leading up to arcade were totally un-walkable. Arcade was outdated. Reading the pool signs before you enter pool area said that there was a Jacuzzi, there is not jacuzzi.
Playground was trashed and I felt it unsafe. Put put course was run down. Pet friendly but there is literally no grass for your pet to do their business. Garbage area is soooooooooooo nasty 🤢.
Andy the owner seems like a cheapskate (Although he did give a refund of fifty dollars for the inconvenience of having to switch cottages 2 different times (also, it sounds like he treats his employees like dirt, due to a speaker phone conversation over heard)
The Plus
Every single person that I came across was really friendly Great location Accommodating...
Read moreResort’s Campground provides us access to all the southern New Jersey beach towns and beaches. Sea Isle is the closest, but we hit Stone Harbor and Corson’s Inlet frequently. Lots of nearby farm stands on the way off the beaches and I highly recommend Marie’s Seafood in Fish Alley, Sea Isle. Good people.
We have our kayaks, surf boards, bikes, and beach chairs all ready to go for weekends and full weeks at the beach. It’s so nice during the high season to come back to our beautiful park model, build fires, and ride around in our golf cart.
The manager gets how important my family is to me-and, I believe through observation, is to many who chose to make Resorts their summer place. It’s not a fancy campground with brand new park models and perfectly stoned lots. That smurf blue took a little getting used to, but as your mama has said, “Never judge a book by its cover!” The pride in our pool and in our playground demonstrates that kids (and grandkids!) can grow and have grown up here.
Resorts is filled with sites being maintained more and more by people who get the gift of having a place at the beach. Even this summer, I heard more hammers, chop saws and power washers throughout the campground as people took pride in their places. Some trailers are 40 years old and look great because the owners love them. We truly treasure finding this campground six years ago. Although we do not know people by name, they know us as the art trailer. Love. Love....
