We just finished a trip during Covid where we had a tropical storm and power outage and I'm still able to give this campground 5 stars!! We specifically wanted somewhere where social distancing wouldn't be a problem. Our group got 2 cabins next to each other. Since this campground is mainly seasonal and we purposely visited mid-week we found it quiet with plenty of signage about social distancing and staff wearing masks. There cabins were spotless!! Really really clean. The kids loved the pool and the water slide. The playground was well maintained. The store was small but had a few things we forgot. During our stay Tropical Storm Isaias hit. There was a tornado 5 miles up the road and the winds from the storm brought down a ton of large limbs. It knocked out power/sewage to the campground (and a large portion of the area). The staff was out during the storm and worked around the clock clearing the debris and getting a generator running for the bathrooms/water to our operate. We had an issue with our water pressure which they fixed right away. And they kept apologizing about the effects of the storm but we understood that the issues were way out of their hands. The even offered us a free nights stay (even though we didn't complain about any of the issues and unfortunately wasn't able to take them up on the offer). We will definitely come back and highly recommend if you are looking for a family-run campground that takes pride in...

Overall the experience at Sea Grove was good. We stayed for a week in a cabin with no restroom which was okay. Our cabin was one site away from the laundry room and restrooms. The cabin we stayed in was small for six people. There’s a double bed in the first room and two sets of bunks in the back room. It’s manageable to fit adults on the bottoms bunks, but it’s a tight squeeze. Especially, the set of bunks right behind the bedroom door. Super tight area. Okay for kiddos, but not adults. Overall, the cabin had A/C, a fridge, microwave, front screened in porch with two Adirondack chairs, a double bed and two bunks. There’s also a grill outside, a picnic table and a fire ring for campfires. The restrooms were always clean, the showers were nice and hot. The showers are on water saver buttons, so after about 30 or second it shuts off. Just push the button the reactivate the water and it continues to remain hot. The swimming pool was nice a cool for the hotter days. There’s a slide for kiddos and adults. They also have pool toys available to play with. We played BINGO in the barn, kids can play too and win candy. Adults who win get money prizes. The store is nicely stocked with things if you forget something. In the store is also a nice lil cafe and the food is cheap. My kiddos also enjoyed the arcade. The best this is how close we were to Cape May, Wildwood, OCNJ, Sea Isle City, Walmart, ACME grocery stores and gasoline. We...

We spent the last week at Sea Grove in a Park Model #8. The Campground was peaseful during the week and like years ago when we camped. Weekends were loud and the 11 pm quiet hr. was not upheld. We had no light at our door entrance to our rental. If one of us had fallen your campground would have had a huge liability. We had mouse droppings in our kitchen drawers. TV in bedroom was very snowy on a lot of the channels. TV in living room was better but not 100%. Our Friends, the Valleys had no problem with TV & we were next door. WiFi was not convenient. Poor supplies in kitchen. I left a list of issues at the front desk today as I felt the owners would want to know of our issues. The young lady that checked us out today said she was glad we told her of these things but her customer service skills were poor. She never said she was sorry. We have been camper for 40 yrs. from tenting, pop-ups, travel trailer. We sold our truck and camper and this was the first time we decided to rent a park model. Not a good experience at all. What happened to accountability for your staff cleaning the rentals. A list to be checked off & someone to check the rentals after they cleaned seems like a necessary thing to do. Proper training for your staff on customer service would be another great...

Stayed in the past and it was decent. Was there this summer and will never return. Showed up to the lock on the door ripped off. Ants covered BOTH of our cabins so they put us in a trailer where the AC in the bedroom didn’t work and everything smelled like mildew. I disputed the charge with my card due to their lack of willingness to refund on property and they sent back a notice that they don’t refund for bugs. I’d love to see the owners sleep in a cabin where you wake up with ants crawling on your face! They also claimed to be “more than accommodating to our family” when all they did was force us from TWO cabins down to ONE trailer due to leaving our two ant infested cabins. After contacting the campsite by email they blamed the lack of care and attendance to the campground on the owners husband passing- terribly sad but as a business owner there aren’t excuses. Shame on this business and I will never return in the future

Excellent campgrounds. There are definitely cabins available but we chose to use a tent for preference and cost and couldn't be happier with the choice. Everyone who works here is super nice and helpful, and even though we don't have a camper the water hookup is useable for fresh water any time we want right by our site! Fire pit and wood is available at each site and we are an easy 5 minutes away from the beach at Sea Isle City 😎 Couldn't be happier with the experience.
