We had such a lovely stay at this charming bed and breakfast! Our private room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with cozy beds that made it easy to relax after a long day of travel. The peaceful location was perfect for a family getaway—quiet, scenic, and very kid-friendly.
My children especially loved the beautiful yard, which had fun games for them to enjoy and plenty of space to run around. We were also invited to explore the garden, which made the stay feel even more personal and welcoming. Inside, there were a great selection of board games that kept the kids entertained in the evenings.
The continental breakfast was simple but delicious, with fresh baked scones and fruit that hit the spot. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel at home.
This is a wonderful place for families looking for a peaceful retreat with thoughtful amenities. We would...
Read moreRemarkable place, Hospitality Inn. Remarkable man, Jeff Burcher. In July 2012 my girlfriend and I did a self-supported bicycle tour around Mount Shasta, beginning and ending in Dorris, CA. As the other reviews suggest, the Hospitality Inn is memorable, and the owner, Jeff, is the real deal. Staying at the Hospitality Inn means staying in Jeff's house--the family photos are his family photos. No fake authenticity here. And his meals--whether at the Inn or down the street at his restaurant--are delicious and hearty. This guy, who used to cook for hundreds in the Forest Service, knows his way around Caesar Salads, pasta dishes, fish, and cheesecake. We stayed with Jeff at the beginning and at the end of our bike tour, and each time, like Zorba the Greek, Jeff embraced us with a comfortable room, terrific food and drink, and his unmistakable...
Read moreWhen my boss told me I had the opprotunity to go to training in Dorris Ca, I thought where the heck can I stay? I searched the internet for hotels and found 3. The Hospitality Inn looked the best so I decided to go with it. I stayed for a week and would have stayed longer. I am from Indiana and a common saying there is Hoosier Hospitality. The Hospitality Inn in Dorris made Indiana hospitality seam rude. The place was AWSOME the food was Awsome and Jeff and Donna are AWSOME! Jeffs' breakfasts at a resturant would easily be worth $15. The resturant that he owns in Dorris should be a 4 to 5 star resturant with lthe love and care he put s into every mouth watering dish. I can not wait to go back for the stay one night and dinner for two deal this summer...
