I was staying here for nearly 2 weeks as I had to work and my family had to self-quarantine because of someone returning home internationally. The non-smoking room was a decent size for 1 person and had the amenities I requested (a microwave and small fridge), and things seemed to be fine. However, there were issues that happened during my stay: 1) Neither Wyndham's website NOR this hotel's page on Google discloses that this hotel DOES have smoking rooms, but only on the first floor. At the time of writing this, it is NOT a smoke-free property! I hated having to inhale that stench every day walking to and from the front door while going to work, and some people decided to break the non-smoking rule on my (non-smoking) floor and did it in theirs as well during my stay. Staff did confront the responsible party and as far as I knew, it came to a stop eventually. 2) I noticed that sometimes towels had small discoloration, tiny stains or tiny hairs stuck in its weaving. 3) Not a huge issue, but my room's smoke alarm had its casing loose and had a light on that (I later found out) was an indication its battery needed changing. 4) The heaters seemed to be either barely used or barely cleaned - in my first room, turning on the heater for the first time blasted the scent of burnt dust into my face. The original room I was in looked more out-of-date than the room I got moved to, which leads to: 5) The biggest issue, and the story behind the photo here: I was originally just in 1 room. I had problems with the side-tables' lamps next to the bed not working (and its alarm clock as well). I came back from work one day and thought they were fixed, but hopping onto the mattress caused them to go out again. I discovered that there are outlet boxes plugged in behind the mattress, and I called the front desk to help me sort it out. When a maintenance person came up to check by looking behind the headboard, the headboard quickly came down onto the bed. Thankfully, said maintenance person documented and filed a report about the incident to prove I wasn't at fault. I was moved to a nearby room for no additional charge, thankfully with more a more stable headboard and furniture. I also experienced loud noise and disruption during my stay into the evenings and late into the night from other guests. While these weren't the staff's fault, it did take a while for someone to come up and confront the responsible party due to the minimal number of staff around during the evening. Lastly, the showers/bathtub were a bit too small for standing or sitting, but it was tolerable; also, the staff were friendly and understanding about the issues I had to deal with, but I'd prefer. While this wasn't the worst stay I've ever had and certainly got what I paid for and needed, I'm not entirely certain I'll stay here again in the near future (even as I'm a local resident). My advice to anyone considering to stay here: check all the info you need to know with the front desk (ex. smoking or non-smoking, fees, etc.) prior to your stay, check to make sure all furniture, furnishings and appliances in your rooms are functional, safe and stable, and double-check the cleanliness of your bedding and towels.

Delightful Staff, Miss Stephanie was charming, cheerful, and you could tell she just loves working with people. Miss Albany, in the morning, as well. Cheerful, kind, accommodating, and done so with genuine caring. I use a walker and so rather than lug my few bags down slowly, Miss Albany brought the Valet to my room. Just so sweet and kind... both of them. I was amazed at the quality of my room and the value that I received was above and beyond. My room was beautifully appointed, with attractive furnishings, ceramic tiles in the foyer and bathroom. Everything I needed was at my finger tips: A fully stocked coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge, which, again, I so appreciated so that I didn't have to make my way to the lobby to heat up some frozen food I had with me. The bed was absolutely immaculate, comfortable and cradled me like it was a cloud. I did not have the opportunity to use the pools, but from what I could see from my room window, the outdoor pool liked very clean and well maintained. Bottom line, if you have the need of staying in the East Windsor/ Hightstown/ Twin Rivers areas, (or even farther away,) this is the place to stay! You would be out of your mind to spend the money to stay anywhere else!!! Feel free to contact me with any questions. PS No. I am not related to, or associated with anyone who works at Days Inn, or the Days Inn company. I just really enjoyed myself. Thank you.

I’m dead tired and In need of sleep but before I turn in for the night I feel like I’ve got to talk about my experience with this hotel. My company booked my reservation at the hotel across the street but without giving thought to the parking situation. I drive a big truck with a 53 foot trailer, so parking is always an issue. The place across the street didn’t have the parking lot or parking in general to accommodate this type of vehicle. I didn’t know what to do. So I walked across the street and asked the lady at this holiday inn if I could park my truck in their lot. My reservation was again, w the place across the street. I should mention I had my 2 young children with me (ages 1.5 and 4) With such kindness, the lady at the front desk said I was more than welcome to park in their lot. All I had to was leave my information with them. Days inn had nothing to gain by doing this for me and my growing family. And that’s why I’m writing this review. They did this out of the kindness of the heart. They could have been like “kick rocks, you’re beat”. And that’s what I expected honestly. I was wrong. Good people still exist. They helped a struggling truck driver with 2 young kids, because, at the end of the day, they care about people, and the community. And I’m forever grateful. 5 stars isn’t enough to rate this place. Thank you all so much. You made two young children smile ear to ear.

(There's an update) **My family of 5 stayed here from about 1am -11am April 19,2023. When we first checked in Andrew the overnight front desk person was amazing. We needed two rooms. The room that had the double beds were pretty good(where the children stayed), however the room with the queen/ king( my husband and I stayed), was smelly and outdated. My husband and I could barely breathe through the night it was as if we were having an allergy attack but because it was like 2 am and we carry allergy meds we figured we would deal with it in the morning. Also inside that same room, when my husband went to use the hotel face clothe it had a long string of hair in it. Due to the moldy smell and hair, we decided to check out early ( the same day like 11am instead of the next day the 20th) and we were driving from NYC bk home FL. The woman at the front desk (Ms.Albany) seemed to be frustrated due to another customer having a complaint in front of us but nonetheless she remained professional, seemily understanding and helpful in which she signed our check out receipt saying she we would not be charged full price for one of the rooms. She assured us she would get the information to her managers since she couldn't per say do the discount, right there. Now today is 4/27/23 and I have been calling , leaving voice messages for the managers to get back to me and of course NOTHING. The still charged us FULL price at that. I feel like they are ducking and dodging my calls which of course is frustrating because at the very least you can let me know something. Now I have spoken to Albany however she continues to say she let her managers know but that's her best. We are hoping that this Days Inn values its customers and gets back to us, please and thank you.

I hope whoever stays here , have a smooth stay better than we had.

**Update 5-3-23 The Manager Jordan has called me the same or next day from me writing this review and apologized as well as provided us with the discounts. I am truly grateful they value their customers enough to respond in a timely manner and correct things . For this reason alone, I WOULD GO BACK because I know they value their business and customers. Thank You Days Inn. (So I'll be adding a star since they have rectified...

Staff at the front desk are amazing, we needed a place to stay the night to go to "six flags great adventure" and every other place was full at 12am when we were calling. Not only was this hotel the cheapest but they were the only staff that ansered the phone with proper manners at midnight. The place was kinda spooky at night with the building exterior being so basic, but upon entering it was a nice and clean inviting atmosphere that you could find at other more expensive hotels in the area.

The room that we had gotten with two queen beds was up to standards for cleanliness aswell was the bathroom. The beds were well made and softer than I'm used to but very comfortable, I had saw an earlier review mention bugs so I checked every nook and could not find any evidence of any bugs whatsoever, l barely found dust. There where no fridges or microwaves in the rooms but the binder in my room stated that you could request one for a five dollar fee or both for ten.

The free breakfast was pretty lackluster consisting of your choice of coffe, tea, or juice with the addition of bread and prepackaged cereal so I just grabbed a cup of oj and headed to the vending machines. I purchased two "Starbucks doubleshot energy" drinks and they got stuck in the machine, I told the staff who was standing at the front desk that they were stuck. He went over to check if my claim was trustworthy in which he responded that it was unfortunate with a nice smile, he then gave me a refund for the drinks and told me if I can get the drinks unstuck I could keep the money. Sadly the machine was too heavy for me to rock to properly dislodge the drinks, so I just used my refund given to me by the hotel to purchase another which knocked the two drinks down and the most recent took their place.

Overall the experience at this hotel was great and was only made better thanks to the friendly staff which I don't get enough of because of my "lowlife" appearance. If your just looking for a nice place to rest and take a shower in the morning this is the place to be, if your looking for extras you might want look elsewhere but for me this was more than perfect.

Sorry for not taking photos before our arrival to further show...
