Sands Motel By OYO El Paso near Airport — Hotel in El Paso

I came to Sands Motel to spend time alone... the Manager/Owner was very rude and racist.. the room I was given had a foul odor and the bed had white stains and I have pictures to prove that.. the manager came to the room to verify and indeed removed the sheets stating she will change sheets.. I asked for a refund and was denied.. she made the "you mexican people stay here" comment Insinuating we are the dirty ones using the rooms..at least thats what I understood from that...The middle eastern lady which is the manager offered me another room free of charge but I denied it because of how disgusted I was..as Im writting this review she came outside and clarified that she is NOT the owner and apologized to me,however the damage is done. I went to this hotel with my boyfriend, (I never wrote reviews but I felt like I should here) honestly WORST hotel I’ve ever been to. Place was so dirty! We checked in and the man in the front charged my boyfriend an extra fee for the key and also cuz I was with him (even tho when he rented the room he put two would be staying), we got to the room and the bed was dirty and looked like the sheets hadn’t been cleaned (like they just fixed the bed after the last person and didn’t wash them) we complained and told the dude that and thankfully they came and changed them but they seemed hesitant at first. Long story short we stayed two days the bed spreads had cigarette burns, the place had roaches, it smells bad, the man in the front was rude. Honestly I will never stay there again, and I don’t recommend this...

This place is horrible. I do not recommend it. The hotel is dirty. The management is rude. Hotel bathroom had no electricity. The rooms were dusty, not vacuumed, bedding was stained and had cigarette burns. There were roaches in the bathroom sink. There was roach feces in the refrigerator. The phone didn’t work. The AC didn’t work when we went to the office to ask for a refund he refused to give us a refund And argued with us. The room was not good at all. I do not recommend this place at all.
