I made reservations for a couple of days through my Choice rewards app since we were looking at property in the area. I chose this place due to the high rating on google. We decided not to stay for both nights since we were able to see all the places and when we were checking in the lady said that she could not change it due to me making the reservation on my app. Since it was still only 3:00 I called the Choice Rewards Customer Service and they were able to change it but I had to pay a higher rate. Once we checked in we went to our room, it was not at all what I was expecting. the floors were sticky, the room felt damp, and it needed work. Since the sign on the board stated "New Rooms", I was like , WHERE???? Not this one. We turned on the AC to pull the moisture out of the room and decided to go to dinner. When we came back a few hours later the room still felt damp. That's when we noticed that the there was no weather seal on the entry door. Also the bathroom door did not close all the way. My husband went to turn on the lamp on the desk and it was literately broken at the base of the bulb. What a hazard, he could be electrocuted by using it. That night when we went to bed, the bed sheets and mattress actually felt damp from all the moisture in the room. The next morning when I go to take a shower I pick up the soap, which is in the package, and when I went to open it I notice that it is already open and when I pull it out you could tell that it had been used and placed back in the wrapper. Really! Used soap! We go to get breakfast in the hotel lobby and when we go in there are no pastries, no fruit, no yogurts, no individual milks. Nothing but cereal that you have to scoop out of a jar, waffles, maybe as I never saw the mix and that was it. We checked out and left. I think this hotel is used by construction workers that are in the area working as that seemed to be the only other people there. I won't stay...
Read moreRoom was a comfy king bed &
a love seat style couch. The ADA room was really not handicap accessible. The bed tho comfy, was tall I’m 5’3” & it was not effortless to access. The tub not a shower, making it difficult to lift legs above tub sides to enter basinalso no grab bars in bathing area~ they had positioned the shower assist chair in the closet outside the bathroom door. Bathroom itself was spacious & well planned .
The flooring in the sleeping area was warping in a Wave Look Pattern front desk assured me it was due to an installation neglect & was scheduled to be replaced. The poor gentlemen next to us also in an ADA room, had issues far more noticeable than us & he struggled to get his walker up the 2 step riser that was in front of the rooms
I mentioned the ramp walkway to him but he assured me the steps were easier than the 5-6 car length smooth distance to & from the ramp access back toward the room again, in a typical UTurn style design. He didn’t know if his closet had the shower seat or not but he did state his room also was a tub and had no grab bars in bathing area.
I was busy repacking the car & talking with the gentleman next to our room & neither my husband or myself went for breakfast.
The young lady Breanne who checked us in Sun pm was professional friendly, efficient & suggested dinner restaurants for us including her favorite dinner choices.

There wasn't but 1 wash cloth and 2 towels. I called the front desk. I was asked if I needed more. I said we are here for 2 nights so yes. She told me to come get them. The main reason is that both nights there were people outside in front of the rooms throwing corn hole, playing music loudly. Cooking out. The first night I didn't complain The second night I called the front desk around 9 p.m. and asked to please have them move from in front of the rooms. They had been throwing corn hole, drinking, playing music, running up and down the stairs since 5 p.m. I was told by the front desk that they would handle it. It went on until about 1030 p.m. Everyone is entitled to a good time. But everyone is also entitled to a quiet stay at the hotel. I asked for them to move their "party" to the bottom of the parking lot. In fact they got louder. We left at 330 a.m. this morning. I would tell any friends and family NOT to stay at Quality Inn in Elberton Georgia. This was the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. The floors were cracked. There was a huge gap around the door. 2 to 3 inch at the bottom of the door. So much I used towels (2) to block the gap. I was very...
