New Hunan Buffet — Restaurant in Elberton

Many Properly cooked shrimp and chicken dishes (not mushy or rubbery), very tasty crab salad and a couple other dishes, nice assortment of fresh fruits. Hot and sour chicken had lots of nice veggies and tasted good, not very spicy though, if that’s what you’re looking for. Everything was quite clean, including the restroom, although those with mobility issues may have problems getting around the narrow hall and doorways to the restrooms. Apparently the central AC was not working properly, but numerous additional floor units throughout the restaurant kept it cool, although a bit “breezy”, blowing around the napkins, etc. All in all, we had a lovely time and will return! We were pleasantly surprised by this place! Even though it is on the smaller side, they had a great variety of items and a few things I haven't seen at the bigger places. The quality is on par with the standard Chinese buffet food and the service was good. Bathrooms are a bit wonky but nothing you wouldn't expect of an older building. One thing I liked that is different from other places was the selection of frozen desserts. They had the ice cream cups but also Mayfield ice cream bars, fudge bars and Popsicles! First time here , to be honest I was not excepted the food quality to be as good as it was . I think I was wrong.I was very impressed with this Chinese buffet. They have an incredible amount of options on the buffet. More than 70 items I guess.
