Pine Lodge — Hotel in Encampment

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I had seen the ratings were high for this location and my rating for this location would be just about perfect. I was informed that there had been a complete renovation of the property and it is beautifully evident. Everything in my room looks absolutely brand new and finished to a very high-level. From the furniture to linens to lighting, air conditioning and heating television, everything is like it just came out of the box. It is an older style hotel with exterior door entrances at ground level, it’s a very quiet town, where you don’t feel concerned about your safety, or your vehicle. I wish that Joan, the lady running the front desk, managed a bigger place and more of them! I’d stay at them anywhere! She remembered I had a service dog, even though I forgot to mention it. The place is super clean, the beds are really comfortable, and it even smells good! I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this place puts them to shame. Had the choice between here and Saratoga, and I’m so glad my coworker mentioned the Pine Lodge. Whenever I’m in the area, this is where I’ll stay!...

I rolled into town late on a motorcycle trip and needed a room and a shower. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the motel. I was wrong. What a great little motel! The manager was awesome. The room was updated and modern with a super comfy bed. The restaurant next door was good. Perfect place to stay if you are starting or finishing up the COBDR! Even give BDR riders a little discount!
