My wife and I had an absolute amazing time during our week at the ranch! We arrived in the evening when it was dark so didn’t really know what we were missing on the drive up from Denver. When I woke up and went for a run the next morning...are you kidding me?! Wherever you are on the property you are continually reminded of why you went to Colorado on vacation. ||||When it comes to activities to choose from, we saw the list and there are plenty of options to keep you busy. I always thought riding horses in the mountains would be so cool and I was right! We both had a good time weaving through the forest trail. We also did the E-bikes and those were super fun as well. The ranch is also really close to Estes Park so we were able to head into town for an afternoon and see the elk, get some souvenirs for the kids, and walk around and enjoy the town. ||||Then there’s the food...oh man, we seriously felt spoiled. Come to think of it, I am actually kind of mad they roll out the red carpet like they did because how am I supposed to integrate back into real life and the basics I usually eat? All kidding aside, both my wife and I loved the quality as well as the variety throughout the week. ||||But what sets Wind River apart is their staff. Friends who have been told us going in that we would be blown away and they nailed it. The crew at the ranch is the best. Cowboy Aaron and Cowboy Nick are amazing leaders who lead an incredible crew. They are so kind, gracious, helpful, polite, knowledgeable, and willing to jump in and help make your time with them restful and impactful. I’ve been to countless hotels, resorts, and world class attractions and the Wind River staff easily comes in at the top slot. I know it sounds a little over the top...but if you’ve been, you agree. If you’ve not been, go see for yourself and I have no doubt you’ll experience the same that we did.||||The whole time we were there as a couple we kept saying our kids would absolutely love it here and we are trying to figure out how to make that happen. We were so thankful for our week there and HIGHLY recommend to anyone that they should find their way there ASAP. ||||Thanks Wind River Ranch for an amazing experience, we had a blast and hope to see...
Read moreMy husband left a review on trip advisor, but I just had to find a way to leave my own review because we both cannot say enough good things about this place.
You can go on a family vacation to many places and find beautiful scenery, great accommodations, and friendly and hospitable people, but this place goes far beyond that! The people who work there are kind and hospitable but make you feel like part of the family! Really!
We were accepted under a scholarship to visit for a week. We have four young children, and I felt certain that because of having one child under two, I would not be able to enjoy myself as much because I would constantly have to skip some activities since he wouldn’t be able to go on trail rides. Not so! They had on site daycare with wonderful young ladies who went above and beyond to show a good time to my kids! Two of my kids were old enough to do trail rides(10 and 7) but my 7 year old begged to go to Kids Club (their daycare) rather than ride horses the entire time!
My husband and I had our 8th anniversary while we were there and my 10 year old asked the kitchen staff to make us a surprise cake and they excitedly did it!! My husband and I were able to take a beautiful trail ride where the wrangler was far enough ahead it seemed we were alone in the beauty God created.
Our accommodations were beyond 5 stars. We stayed in Spruce cabin which is the biggest cabin. It has an upstairs and down, full kitchen, and I felt so much like it was my own house!
I could leave a book on how wonderful this place is but I can assure you, you will NEVER have a vacation like this where you can wake up to God’s beauty all around you, eat meals every day that are delicious, ride horses as much as you want, sit in a hot tub overlooking a gorgeous view of the mountains and so so much more!
I wish I could give more stars! Thank you Wind River Ranch for sharing God’s love while treating us like royalty on...
Read moreIn the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado is this amazing place called Wind River Ranch! Just arrived home after a wonderful week in God's Country, Estes Park, Colorado! The grandeur of the Rockies from your cozy cabin, the lovely swimming pool, the horse arena and dining hall are views you will never forget. The gourmet meals and friendly staff were wonderful. Each staff member was there to serve the guests with kindness and a smile. Best staff of young people I have ever seen.||The best part of my week was the people I met. Great family's and couples from all around the country. The fellowship with like-minded Christians was a huge blessing!||The morning devotions were optional, but everyone wanted to be there to sing and worship God in the beautiful scenic setting of majestic mountains. Recording star Brandon Heath from Nashville, gave a fabulous concert, plus he sang each day to inspire us and encourage us in our faith. What a voice and what a sweet family he has that blessed us daily with their love for each other and for the Lord.||From cook outs to square dances and all the horse riding you could ever desire, this is the place to come apart and rest or have fun enjoying your family and friends.||They do everything with excellence here and they do it for THE...
