Sequoia River Cottage — Hotel in Exeter

Probably the BEST accommodation I ever had. There are many reasons but I will mention only a couple of them: (1) The house is great - very well equipped with all the amenities one need. Kitchen is great, the rooms are big and comfortable and even the loft was great (it was our biggest concern but it appeared to be OK). (2) the back yard was awesome - even though we came in the end of summer and the river was dry (which seems to be happening only in years which didn't have enough rain like this year). There were few nice sports which you can sit, have a cup of tea and just listen to the birds or watch the stars in the night. (3) location - only about 10 minutes from the park. Also very close to the local stores - coffee, supermarket, restaurants etc. And a big plus was that it was only 2 minutes drive from the Kaweah river which was still streaming in the hot summer so we could get there every evening which was really great. Overall I would definitely recommend to stay there and I wish we will have the opportunity...

We had a wonderful visit to the Sequoia and Three Rivers area and staying at this awesome house was one of the highlights for sure! Great location along the river! We loved the patio deck overlooking the water -- perfect spot to relax and listen to the water cascading over the rocks first thing in the morning and then again in the evening after returning from our day's adventures. The house was spacious, clean and cozy and the kids loved the loft. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. I couldn't recommend this place more highly and we look forward to returning...

I highly recommend this heavenly property by the river. The house is well equipped with all the comfort amenities with an unbelievable access to the river from the back yard. There is a swing right above the river to make your stay wonderful. We toured the City and did not find a better river view than from this property. I spent most of my time on the swing by the river.
