My stay at the Grand Hotel on the Bay in Fairhope, Alabama, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning bay views and the warm Southern hospitality that defines this historic gem.

The property itself is beautifully maintained, blending classic charm with modern luxury. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered breathtaking views of the water—a perfect spot to unwind. From the moment we pulled through the gate and were greeted by the sweetest man who provided helpful instructions to get us to the hotel lobby, to the concierge who escorted us to our building and helped cart our items to the room, to every single server we encountered (Gregory at the pool, Julia at Southern Roots, Andrew at Bucky's, Antonia at The Grand Hall for brunch), and the entire spa staff, we felt extremely taken care of. We went to the Grand Hotel last week for one night. The room was beautiful (spotless), the service is beyond compare, the location and all the amenities are really top notch. Every staff member we encountered was so friendly, helpful, and seemed to be happy working there. It isn't like staying at a hotel, it is an experience. Yes, it is quite expensive, but worth it for a special memory. There are so many things to do, from the great pool, lawn games, cannon firing at 4PM, sitting and enjoying the view of Mobile Bay and more.
