Fort Wayne Inn — Hotel in Fort Wayne

I am a DoorDash driver recently as in five minutes ago I tried dropping off a DoorDash order to a customer. The lady behind the counter was extremely extremely rude. I asked if I could talk to Manager and she told me that they did not have one. I asked her if they had an owner and she said they did not have one like I was stupid, she swore at me and I told her that I did not want to go inside the hotel to drop off the food as it was a bad reputation hotel. I have heard of many girls coming up missing and I’ve never had a DoorDash order at a hotel that I couldn’t leave at the front desk. She told me under no circumstances can I leave food at the front desk and I needed to come inside the hotel to the room number and that was very suspicious and when I told her I didn’t feel comfortable. She screamed at me and said it wasn’t her problem very very very terrible place to be and horrible employee And for the record I was there on a Tuesday night first day of 2025 so if this helps the owner figure out his problems with his business, I am pleased because she was dreadful and very suspicious. They seemed very confused with my reservation, took like 15 minutes to check in. They said they wanted a $20 cash no-smoking deposit, but I said I didn't have any cash and they dropped it. There's no breakfast, and if there's wifi there's no hint on how it works. You can't get inside through the front door, only the side doors that are in dark alleys. The whole place stinks of rotten cigarette smoke. The beds are fine, but everything else looks like they picked it out of a dumpster. The worst is the side doors don't have locks on them, so anyone can wander in at night and try to break into the rooms. I'm not picky on hotels, but this is one of the scummiest hotels...

The Fort Wayne Inn is about my favorite place to stay in Fort Wayne. The staff is friendly, especially the lady working the front desk. The rooms are nice and spacious. They have a table and chair so it's easier to do makeup. Plus they have a mini-fridge in the rooms!!! Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect, but it reminds me of home. The location is amazing! So many fun things to do around, but having a car to get around is helpful. Bonus, there's some nice girls next door so tip them well! The price lured me in and the acceptably clean rooms made me happy. My partner and I definitely plan on using the Fort Wayne Inn whenever we need a place to stay...
