Definitely do NOT recommend. We booked through a third party app and while the outside appears nice, the inside leaves a LOT to be desired. It is dirty, dingy and rundown. The room we were given looked like the beds had already been slept in and was just overall dirty. A big roach crawled up the wall which we killed and then began noticing small roaches everywhere. At one time we counted 7 we could see. We took our concerns to the front desk and she was very understanding and accommodating. The lady that was working is about the only positive in this whole experience. We were given a different room and this go round we didn't see any roaches however the room was once again very dirty. Looked like a cup of coffee had been thrown on the wall and never cleaned up. I wiped the counters and doors and door frames and they were filthy. See pics of what the towels looked like after two minutes of wiping. Beyond gross! The breakfast left a lot to be desired as did the morning staff. They were breaking down the breakfast at about 905 and I asked her if I could please make just one waffle for my daughter and she very loudly said, "No. ITS CLOSED! WE CLOSE AT 9." Just rude. I understand it was past 9 but I can't see that it was really hurting anyone to make one waffle however even if the answer was no, I would think someone in a customer service position could communicate this pleasantly. Needless to say, we will not be back. Don't waste your money!

Not the type of experience I expect at a La Quinta. This location has been going downhill. I’ve stayed here a few times over the past couple of years and it’s been OK, but my most recent stay was very disappointing. For starters, the room was in rough shape. The bathroom had significant wear and tear, to the point where it needs attention. The fridge was balanced on top of a jagged piece of wood. It was also very warm and I walked into a hot room. Not only was the A/C turned off, but the fridge was also switched off. In the morning, I left my room and the key card wouldn’t let me back in. I went to the front desk and there was a huge line. The gentleman in front of me also got locked out. We had to wait forever. As we were all waiting, a delivery guy delivered a package. The front desk attendant stopped helping guests in line and had an extended personal conversation with the package carrier. While friendly to him, it was very rude to ignore the huge line of people. Many of us were locked out of our room and just wanted to get back in. The only reason why I didn’t give them a 1-star rating was that the place has potential. At least it’s clean. Otherwise, they need to do some work on the interior and step up the customer service.

I am very understanding of the chaos that is holidays weekends. However, when we showed up, our room had candy, candy wrappers, and a razor blade on the floor. We couldn't walk around the room barefoot because if you did for longer than 5 minutes your feet would be completely black. There were blood stains still on the comforters, and the AC would not cool past 76°. When we brought all this to the attention of the front desk, we were told there were no rooms to swap us to for our first night (understandable, it is a holiday weekend after all) but they would remove the pet fee from our charges and call us to change our room the following night if there was one available (there ended up not being one, which again, is understandable). Instead of the $50 pet fee ($25/night) being removed, we were charged it twice. So in total, we were charged our room fee, a $50 deposit, and two $50 pet fees for a disgusting room with a non-functioning AC. Our $50 deposit has been refunded, but we are still waiting on the $100 worth of pet fee to be refunded to our card. Supposedly, the refund for the $100 worth of pet fees is on the way, but we will see. Review will be updated with the outcome.

Stay away if possible. Outside: conveniently located right off of a highway but the entry door is a bit lack luster...the foyer and breakfast area however looked neat and inviting .

Front Desk/ Welcome: hardly a welcome...we were met by a young middle eastern man who was talking on the phone throughout our interaction...we were first assigned rooms on the first floor. We received no directions on how to get to our rooms and with a lack of room directions signage we ended up walking around a bit before getting to our room. It would've been nice to have been told "this way to your room" Though it's not my favorite level to be on in a hotel we took the room card to check out our rooms on the first floor. When we opened the doors we were met with a strong smell of nicotine. The rooms looked nice and I was surprised by the high ceilings but with asthmatics in the family, to stay in those rooms was not going to happen. We returned to the front desk to ask for a room change and when I told the man the situation he responded, "you can't change both rooms. Only one...which one smells like cigarettes?" When I repeated myself and told him both, he begrudgingly took our room cards and looked for different rooms. I asked if our rooms could be on a higher level and close together possibly with a CONNECTING DOOR. He quickly responded that they don't have rooms together on any level. I told him if he can find anything remotely close we would take it...after this back and forth he magically found two rooms right across the hall from each other on the third floor. Right after we checked into the new rooms, another family moved into the room adjacent ours with THE CONNECTING DOOR. I wonder how that happened.

ROOM: Our first rooms smelled like cigarettes and the hallway on the first floor smelled like dog poop. When we got our rooms changed, we DID NOT get another room with two beds like we had reserved. I mentioned this to the man and he said "that room with the one bed is more expensive" essentially telling me to beat it and that he has done me a favor by taking away a bed. One of our new rooms had a very damp and musty smell.. Even after we turned on the air conditioner it remained musty. One night there was the intense smell of what smelled like Nair shaving cream coming from the air conditioner. In the room adjacent to us the family had a daughter (maybe 3 or 4 years old) that was screaming from the top of her lungs the whole night. Bathroom: all I can say is that some photos are so graphic that they can't be posted. The bathroom drain was absolutely filthy that I had to cover it so that I wouldnt look at it while brushing my teeth. The shower has soap bottle ring. Terrible experiences with the front desk staff...all three staff members that I had interactions with at the front desk were horrendous. Don't expect any clean towels in the gym or any disinfectant wipes to wipe down the dirty machines Bedroom: dirty. I can tell sheets are not changed between guests. Hair between pillows... blood stains on back of bathroom door. There was also a shaving cream smell coming from the air conditioner and it made a terrible crashing sound every half hour or so turnimg off.

Overall one of the worst hotels...

Me and my husband stayed four nights and I have never been more frustrated with a stay in my life. When booking this reservation there were no place for pets to be added but I requested in the notes to please be on the bottom floor and that we had one dog. As I check in nothing was said and we were put on the fourth floor. That wasn’t a problem for us. As the day went on we walked our dog outside where the receptionist watched as he cleaned his car out underneath the canopy out front still, nothing was said about our pet. The next morning as I already have a do not disturb on the door from a long day of travel, somebody proceeds to knock on our door and once I opened it, they said “never mind I meant the other door” not even five minutes later they were calling my room telling me that I owed $100 for my dog that they had a pet fee. I understand that they have a pet fee but I stated this to them and nothing was said before hand. They then go on with telling me that I had to move rooms because it was an inconvenience to other guest that I had a dog on the fourth floor. I stated to them that it was an inconvenience of how I already let them know and now they are hitting me with a pet fee and move a weeks worth of stuff to a bottom floor, where they proceeded to let me know that it was such an inconvenience to me they could go ahead and check me out. This hotel was booked in advance so we still stayed due to my husbands job. We paid the fee and moved rooms. All for this room to smell like cigarettes, there was mold on the bottom on the cabinet by the fridge, the light switch would turn off the fridge and microwave at night so everything in the fridge would get warm. our hairdryer smelt like it was going to catch on fire and I had to go get a new one from the front desk. The seal on the door when I opened it would come off, and there was a big gap on the bottom of the door where you could stick something underneath the door. We even had guest down the hall wake us up at 12 in the morning talking in the halls slamming doors and nothing was done about that. The shower curtain was so short in the bathroom that when you took a shower it would flood the bathroom floor. We had a light pole by the pool shock my dog as we were walking him. We also noticed that none of the inspection paperwork for the breakfast area and elevators Were hanging they had a note that said you can ask for them at the front desk. i have never seen anything like that. We also watched a lot of lingering people outside near the hotel that wasn’t staying there. As a former employee for Wyndham I was very disappointed with this stay. We will not be...

Started off with check in time said 12 on app. But isnt 12, its 3. We learned by having to go to the place and ask if we could check in at 12 like it says. Ok, please change your app to the correct time as it would solve this problem. Rooms were pretty clean. Elevators are old but clean. Breakfast was good. Went back to room because our check out time was 11. @ 9 am housekeeping started knocking on doors wanting to start cleaning but the problem is, we had til 11 and not only did they knock once but 3 times. I told the last lady that they could come back at checkout. She said sorry no English! Ok, problem I don't speak Spanish (wish I did, but I dont). Ugh! So while she is knocking on all the other doors and loudly yelling at people who wouldn't open their door. We could hear the commotion. So, then, she turns on her music loud enough to hear it inside the room she was cleaning and the music was playing on her cleaning cart, in the hallway. So, that was very rude. We paid til 11 NOT 9. So the way I see it is, and I don't run a hotel but I do deal with customers. If you rent a room til 11 you should be able to enjoy the room til 11 and not be bother with employee knocking, yelling and playing music so loud you can hear all of this INSIDE the room you RENTED til 11. We paid money for a room that we could use, not all the extras! This is absolutely crazy to me, why would you allow your employees to do this? I was so very upset with the knocking and yelling that the damn music sent me over the top, we said screw it, and the money we spent for the room, We left. Will never be back and I will not give people who care so little about the customers that they allow this to go on our money. I think we should get half of it back considering we were allowed to enjoy a room for 1/2 the time. I feel like we were harassed out of the room...
