Stay away if possible. Outside: conveniently located right off of a highway but the entry door is a bit lack luster...the foyer and breakfast area however looked neat and inviting .
Front Desk/ Welcome: hardly a welcome...we were met by a young middle eastern man who was talking on the phone throughout our interaction...we were first assigned rooms on the first floor. We received no directions on how to get to our rooms and with a lack of room directions signage we ended up walking around a bit before getting to our room. It would've been nice to have been told "this way to your room" Though it's not my favorite level to be on in a hotel we took the room card to check out our rooms on the first floor. When we opened the doors we were met with a strong smell of nicotine. The rooms looked nice and I was surprised by the high ceilings but with asthmatics in the family, to stay in those rooms was not going to happen. We returned to the front desk to ask for a room change and when I told the man the situation he responded, "you can't change both rooms. Only one...which one smells like cigarettes?" When I repeated myself and told him both, he begrudgingly took our room cards and looked for different rooms. I asked if our rooms could be on a higher level and close together possibly with a CONNECTING DOOR. He quickly responded that they don't have rooms together on any level. I told him if he can find anything remotely close we would take it...after this back and forth he magically found two rooms right across the hall from each other on the third floor. Right after we checked into the new rooms, another family moved into the room adjacent ours with THE CONNECTING DOOR. I wonder how that happened.
ROOM: Our first rooms smelled like cigarettes and the hallway on the first floor smelled like dog poop. When we got our rooms changed, we DID NOT get another room with two beds like we had reserved. I mentioned this to the man and he said "that room with the one bed is more expensive" essentially telling me to beat it and that he has done me a favor by taking away a bed. One of our new rooms had a very damp and musty smell.. Even after we turned on the air conditioner it remained musty. One night there was the intense smell of what smelled like Nair shaving cream coming from the air conditioner. In the room adjacent to us the family had a daughter (maybe 3 or 4 years old) that was screaming from the top of her lungs the whole night. Bathroom: all I can say is that some photos are so graphic that they can't be posted. The bathroom drain was absolutely filthy that I had to cover it so that I wouldnt look at it while brushing my teeth. The shower has soap bottle ring. Terrible experiences with the front desk staff...all three staff members that I had interactions with at the front desk were horrendous. Don't expect any clean towels in the gym or any disinfectant wipes to wipe down the dirty machines Bedroom: dirty. I can tell sheets are not changed between guests. Hair between pillows... blood stains on back of bathroom door. There was also a shaving cream smell coming from the air conditioner and it made a terrible crashing sound every half hour or so turnimg off.
Overall one of the worst hotels...
Read moreMe and my husband stayed four nights and I have never been more frustrated with a stay in my life. When booking this reservation there were no place for pets to be added but I requested in the notes to please be on the bottom floor and that we had one dog. As I check in nothing was said and we were put on the fourth floor. That wasn’t a problem for us. As the day went on we walked our dog outside where the receptionist watched as he cleaned his car out underneath the canopy out front still, nothing was said about our pet. The next morning as I already have a do not disturb on the door from a long day of travel, somebody proceeds to knock on our door and once I opened it, they said “never mind I meant the other door” not even five minutes later they were calling my room telling me that I owed $100 for my dog that they had a pet fee. I understand that they have a pet fee but I stated this to them and nothing was said before hand. They then go on with telling me that I had to move rooms because it was an inconvenience to other guest that I had a dog on the fourth floor. I stated to them that it was an inconvenience of how I already let them know and now they are hitting me with a pet fee and move a weeks worth of stuff to a bottom floor, where they proceeded to let me know that it was such an inconvenience to me they could go ahead and check me out. This hotel was booked in advance so we still stayed due to my husbands job. We paid the fee and moved rooms. All for this room to smell like cigarettes, there was mold on the bottom on the cabinet by the fridge, the light switch would turn off the fridge and microwave at night so everything in the fridge would get warm. our hairdryer smelt like it was going to catch on fire and I had to go get a new one from the front desk. The seal on the door when I opened it would come off, and there was a big gap on the bottom of the door where you could stick something underneath the door. We even had guest down the hall wake us up at 12 in the morning talking in the halls slamming doors and nothing was done about that. The shower curtain was so short in the bathroom that when you took a shower it would flood the bathroom floor. We had a light pole by the pool shock my dog as we were walking him. We also noticed that none of the inspection paperwork for the breakfast area and elevators Were hanging they had a note that said you can ask for them at the front desk. i have never seen anything like that. We also watched a lot of lingering people outside near the hotel that wasn’t staying there. As a former employee for Wyndham I was very disappointed with this stay. We will not be...
Read moreStarted off with check in time said 12 on app. But isnt 12, its 3. We learned by having to go to the place and ask if we could check in at 12 like it says. Ok, please change your app to the correct time as it would solve this problem. Rooms were pretty clean. Elevators are old but clean. Breakfast was good. Went back to room because our check out time was 11. @ 9 am housekeeping started knocking on doors wanting to start cleaning but the problem is, we had til 11 and not only did they knock once but 3 times. I told the last lady that they could come back at checkout. She said sorry no English! Ok, problem I don't speak Spanish (wish I did, but I dont). Ugh! So while she is knocking on all the other doors and loudly yelling at people who wouldn't open their door. We could hear the commotion. So, then, she turns on her music loud enough to hear it inside the room she was cleaning and the music was playing on her cleaning cart, in the hallway. So, that was very rude. We paid til 11 NOT 9. So the way I see it is, and I don't run a hotel but I do deal with customers. If you rent a room til 11 you should be able to enjoy the room til 11 and not be bother with employee knocking, yelling and playing music so loud you can hear all of this INSIDE the room you RENTED til 11. We paid money for a room that we could use, not all the extras! This is absolutely crazy to me, why would you allow your employees to do this? I was so very upset with the knocking and yelling that the damn music sent me over the top, we said screw it, and the money we spent for the room, We left. Will never be back and I will not give people who care so little about the customers that they allow this to go on our money. I think we should get half of it back considering we were allowed to enjoy a room for 1/2 the time. I feel like we were harassed out of the room...
