Where do I begin? Bryce Getaway Cabins was hands-down one of the grossest places I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying. First off, the “clean” sheets had mystery stains on them — nothing like climbing into bed and immediately questioning every life decision that led you there. The carpet looked like it hadn’t seen a vacuum since the early 2000s and was sprinkled with old gummy bears like a toddler’s forgotten treasure hunt.

The shower? Absolutely tiny, moldy, and equipped with a miniature water heater that gave up after about 90 seconds. Not that you’d want to stay in there long — the water literally smelled like pee. No exaggeration. I almost expected someone to hand me a bottle of Febreze as a complimentary amenity.

There was a giant trap underneath the sink and spiders crawling around like they paid rent. The front door had a lovely gap at the bottom, perfect for welcoming bugs and a healthy draft inside. It’s like they designed the place for discomfort.

And then there’s check-in. You don’t do it at the cabins — you go to the inn down the road, where the front desk guy looked like he had just stared into the abyss and the abyss stared back. Someone called him a “misery man” and I haven’t heard a more accurate nickname in my life.

We left feeling dirty, itchy, and vaguely haunted. Please, do yourself a favor and sleep in your car instead. At least there, the water doesn’t...

I had a booking at their location and we got there abou 1pm. Got in the office and there was no one there. After few minutes a guy came and asked us '' what do you want'' with a very rude attitude. We told him we are looking to check in and told him we have a reservation but he told us he does not have any rooms really and his cleaning crew is not there. In the parking lot of the cabins and the hotel, there were no cars at all. Not even 1! If by 1pk you don't have any clean rooms and no staff to clean that means you can not have any rooms ready by 3 with the amount of rooms and cabins on site. The office and reception are was dirty. We left and not returned back because of the dirty reception area and how rude the guy was. I chose to lose the money I paid for the room instead of staying there. There are so many hotels and cabins that look much better in the canion, of you are visiting the canion. Would not recommend doing any business with...

I wondered which was true…the 4 stars on Google Maps, or the $72 a night rate. It was the $72 a night rate. This place was absolutely awful. You have to check in at the dump Rodeway Inn next door. The “ice machine” is actually half-melted coolers in the Rodeway Inn lobby. Our rooms had cobwebs, bathroom floors that were falling away from the shower and sagging, mold all over the shower, dirt in the large crevices of the wood-slat sink countertop (who thought that was a good idea?), hair in the towels, a sock on one ceiling fan, a wildly-wobbly ceiling fan in the other room, and even the water had an odd smell. This place is neglected. It’s marginally cleaned, but no maintenance seems to be done and the buildings are just falling apart. Of the nine hotels we stayed at during our 10-night/11-day/4-state trip, this was far and away the worst one by far. I get the creeps just...

We loved our overnight stay here before hiking in Bryce Canyon. It is such a beautiful cabin and clean and well maintained. The decor was okay but the bed was clean and comfortable. The room had all the essentials (towels, coffee maker, hair dryer, toiletry, refrigerator, microwave, AC/heating). We booked 2 separate side-by-side cabins. I don't know if the nearby restaurants are open because we had brought our own food for dinner which we just warmed up in the microwave in the room. You do need to go to the Rodeway Inn to get your cabin keys but apart from that we didn't have any other interaction with the manager (except we called ahead about our late check-in). The cabins are 20 minutes by car from Bryce Canyon but are priced much better than the ones closer to Bryce. Would definitely recommend if you're going to hike/sightsee Bryce Canyon!

The cabins a cute and rustic. There's a small refrigerator and microwave. We brought food to grill on the bbq outside, but we needed to go out and get charcoal and disposable plates and such. Then we sat down to a great dinner. The managers are very nice and were very accommodating when we needed to change our reservations for a different day. Bryce is about 20 minutes away from the cabins, but that didn't bother us, it's still a good location with a restaurant and gift shop on either side.
