WOW. OUR FIRST TIME VISIT - HERE AND EVERGREEN. FIRST TIME OUT OF THE HOUSE SINCE MARCH!! LONG AND HONEST REVIEW ABOUT THE CABINS AND THE WEBSITE!!!

During this crazy COVID time in America, I truly felt safe to stay here. I went to the website to see more pictures bc I’m very skeptical to stay anywhere right now...very easy to use, rather use it over booking.com. I also went to the “about” section to read about these cabins and see if this was family owned because of the way we were greeted upon driving up. I found it IS family run. And RUN AMAZINGLY. I am literally watching the Father/Son duo - not just wiping off - but CLEANING DOWN and SCRUBBING...buckets, soap, gloves, cleaners and time - to ensure real cleanliness. Before arriving I had called a few times ensuring “this place” really was taking extra precautions for their guests, and the woman on the phone (the wife/mother of the trio!!) really gave me such assurance of how these cabins are being cared for during COVID. I am in the susceptibility category, as well as pregnant AND have a toddler.. they crawl and touch and put everything in their mouth - And I have been so scared to leave the house/yard since this all started in March. Well - let me say, this family is doing an amazing job at ensuring an immaculately clean place. I don’t think I’ve ever seen this kind of team work anywhere.

Ok ok ok - so what about when I came into the cabin?? #cabin7 It’s beautiful. It smelled cleaned. Especially the bathrooms and the sink area. They assured me every single piece of bedding is being washed, cabin aired out, and cleaned cleaned cleaned... everything when walking in was very clean. I’ve walked into Hilton’s seeing a spot here or there always questioning how well it’s actually been cleaned - but no not here! No doubt in my mind. We will ALWAYS come back here. And they provide coffee in a KEURIG!! Not those dinky little coffee machines that get the coffee grounds everywhere or work half the time... cream and sugar too.

how was the etiquette of the guests? Everyone kept at their distance, wore masks, and kept after them selves. When we arrived our parking spot was taken, we called and they immediately addressed our concerns.

This was really very needed for our family and our toddler!! We’ve only had our yard for SUUUCH a long time. This was also the first time my SUPER BUSY 70 HOUR A WEEK husband has had An extra day off work for us to be able to make a reservation anywhere!! So glad it was here!!! What a treat to come to, and probably the last place we are able to for a while as I’m due in September.

THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL STAY!! It was even more heartwarming to discover its family owned and worked hard for. IT REALLY SHOWS!! I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS!! But this isn’t just a review, it’s a big...

We loved our 3-night stay at Colorado Bear Creek cabins in the Mountain Home cabin. We hit a small snag on our first night, but after one email the owner Rob came straight over to make sure we had everything we needed. The grounds are well-kept and clean. The creek passing by the cabin rivals the relaxing feeling of listening to ocean sounds while you sleep. We used our wood-burning fireplace every evening, which was the perfect touch and just what we needed. Even the firewood was provided for us.

The kitchen had everything we needed. New appliances worked well. Dishwasher was helpful. Our kids were surprised that there were smart TVs, because the cabin really did have a rustic feel that suggests a quiet life without noisy media.

The bathroom had a tankless water heater. Enough said. 😍

I would definitely return to CO Bear Creek Cabins in Evergreen. The surrounding towns of Morrison, Kittredge, Golden, and Lakewood offer so many activities including hiking, fishing, cycling, Dinosaur Ridge, Red Rocks Amphitheater, kayaking, rafting, shopping, dining (so delicious!), all within 10-30 minutes of the cabins. We will be back in...

The cabins were not as advertised they are duplex cabins all stuffed in right next to eachother absolutely zero privacy. when you call the owners with questions they will tell you what you want to hear. The cabins were small tiny tv and didn't have the most pleasant smell when we arrived. I called and reserved our cabin almost a month before our trip. The owner told me multiple times over the phone that this place Is cannabis friendly. But much to put surprise the entire property is pasted with no smoking signs. They offer you a small table clear at the other side of the property to smoke at.. they never refilled our paper towel or toilet paper. There welcoming flyer notes that "we are a get your own damn muffin vacation rental". And yes that they are exactly.. don't rent from these theifs. There are so many better cannabis friendly places to stay in Colorado but unfortunately they would not give us a refund, so we were stuck there.. do your research find a better place even if it is a little more money. Definetly get what you pay for. We were not at all satisfied with our stay at bear cheek cabins. They should call them bear...

Overall very nice and cozy place. Clean cabins. Beautiful view out the front. There’s a creek and then a mountain right behind the creek Parking: there’s only 4 spaces by the cabins to park and if those are full you have to park by the road which we only had to do twice so not a big issue. Cabin: very nice and cozy. Just a few tiny things I didn’t like. The bathroom is very small. The shower water pressure isn’t the greatest but there are like 5 different modes you could change the water pressure with so that was cool. The bed headboard was pretty but also a hazardous design. The headboard comes out above where you lay your head a little. My boyfriend was laying where it came out more. And even though I warned him about it, he still sat up and whacked his head so good it left a lump for a few days. So be careful with that. Good things: the cabin had a heater, fan, fireplace, tv, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, beautiful views. The hand soap smelled so good and made my hands so soft. I wish I knew the scent. Oh it has a closet too! Overall a wonderful place to stay 😊 we saw an elk the first time we got there.
