Sunday night Amanda took care of our work party with ease and friendliness. Sabrina her assistant was quick to help and we deffinitely felt as if they were happy to have us.
The setting and view are incredible. Plenty of seating inside and out. Well placed, good food. Great beer. Generally happy team members.
1 star missing because monica was so unwarm in her greeting. Mentioning short staff, corona in the news etc, denying we had given warning of arrival. Her hoop earings swung dramatically, with as much vigor as her attitude.
Monica was adamant they don't reserve.
My boyfriend and I were the first two guests to arrive. We walked in and asked where the party was. This woman thought we were joking. Upon this realization, we recounted the story for her.
Our boss had called ahead the morning of and mentioned our arrival, if not reserved a table. We were made aware in some form that we as a group were welcome that evening.
Monica's behaviour was absurd. I thought she was joking again when she said aha, no. I thought, maybe she is a server and this was weird banter.. let's wait out front until we see a hostess and ask.
Then she had come back. Out front. Passed other customers looking for us.
We decided outside to wait for our others and regroup, since we felt denied entry.
She came back once more just to deliver another flat out " NO, sorry. " It was as if she couldn't wait to tell us to leave.
We went to the car and waited for more relevant guests to ask instead of us. We didn't plan this event so it wasn't our call. Our new arrivals walked in. I watched them marched back out by Monica. They were followed by a second employee. I watched from the parking lot.
Eventually other the staff member stepped in and backed us up recalling the morning phone call.
Monica then stepped in front of our group with her back to every customer... to I assume to protest?
The other employee direguarded this and happily led our group to a section where we had a wonderful time drinking and eating. My boyfriend and I rejoined through the patio entrance to avoid Monica.
Table service was nothing short of well executed with team help from basically everyone but Monica. She seemed to has disappeared after the incident. No apology. No help.
Special mention the the young man who helped amanda despite his 4 other tables. Wish I could remember his name! I would go back, but i would hope to not see...
Read moreOverpriced with terrible service. Pros: Beautiful view, pleasant staff, great games to play, some of the food tasted great. However, perhaps the reason they have several board games to play with is because it takes 2 hours for lunch in the middle of an afternoon. Cons: Everything else. My mom, sister and my 2 kids just went there for lunch. It was a 2 hour experience starting at 1:20pm. First, we ordered the bavarian pretzels, and mac and cheese for my son. The kids version of mac and cheese is spicy. Nowhere on the kids menu does it mention that the cheese for the mac and cheese is spicy. Then, the price, $6, is ridiculous because all we get for that is a small bowl of mac and cheese; no veggies or fruit or chips on the side. Anyway I asked for another mac and cheese with no spice, and the waitress told us they make the kids mac and cheese with beer cheese, which is only spicy. The waitress did replace our mac and cheese with free sliders. It took her 10 minutes to bring us silverware and ketchup; actually, we ended up getting our own ketchup. Our "Bavarian pretzels" arrived, about 40 minutes after we ordered them (as soon as we sat down). They are neither Bavarian nor pretzels; I know this because my mom is from Bavaria and we have traveled there many times. They reminded us all of Olive Garden breadsticks, but half the size and zero flavor. And $7 for 4 pieces of bread? Ridiculously overpriced. Then we had a lull. It took an HOUR for the main course to arrive, although we only ordered the main meal after we had been there for a half hour because our waitress did not check in with us. She was around, apologizing to at least 3 other tables for getting the order wrong, the kitchen being out of "pretzels" and firecrackers, and getting other parties' bills wrong (we sat at the communal table). Then our food arrived; it was great. We had the root salad, fall salad, and jambalaya. The taste was great; there were no beets in the root salad, but that's ok. Again though, I paid $16 for the fall salad and it was the size of a bread plate but is advertised and priced as an entree salad. Our total bill was $80 for a 2 hour experience. I know this is a new place and perhaps the kitchen and our waitress were having a terrible day, but I expect more. For my money, I'll head...

First time to visit this place. They do allow dogs on the patio so one star for that. We were there at 11:50am and by 1:20pm our food still had not arrived. It took 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order and about 30 minutes after that I asked if she could check on our order as others around us had received their order. She stated that the pulled pork orders are much quicker but the chicken takes a long time to cook and I ordered chicken on my salad. We waited and waited and waited. They weren't overly busy but it appeared she was the only one working the tables outside. The family of 2 adults and 2 small kids next to us waited for their food, received and casually ate their entire meal, the kids played afterward, used the bathroom and then left - all of this occurred while we waited and we still didn't have our meal.We needed to get back to Denver so we asked if we could get it to go and she said yes. We waited another 10 minutes and decided to pay for our drinks and leave. I gave her the cash and all she could say was " do you want me to check what time your order was put in?" Like that makes any difference!! No apology at all. I told her no and she asked if I wanted to speak to a manager and I declined because we had already been there an hour and a half. She asked again if she could show me what time my order went in. I don't know why that makes a difference when we had been there for an hour and a half! So, either she got the order in really late, didn't get the order in at all, did place the order but it was lost, or it really takes an hour to cook a chicken breast in Evergreen. Then in her most sarcastic voice she said "well ok then have a nice day". She never offered to check on our order while we were waiting and she obviously has no concept of time as she thought that our expectations were unrealistic to think that we should have received our food after being there an hour and half. I'm sure it was just our bad luck to have this waitress but it completely ruined our...
