We’ve been coming here for years. Was just settling in this time. Jerk ranger in a boat comes and rudely tells us HE doesn’t want us in the water. We asked just swimming or walking. He again said “I do not want anyone in the water”. Not very polite or explaining why. It has never been an issue. Literally 5min later another lady comes by foot to tell us to take down our umbrella (which is for our baby). I get it if it has always been a policy which is now being reinforced, but don’t be an authoritative jerk!!! The lady was much nicer. Read moreWe LOVE the lake but the rangers on 7/23/19 were Nazi, my 4 year old was ankle deep in the water, male ranger on the boat was there in 2 min and rudely said No swimming. I said nobody is or planning on swimming. He said just don’t touch the water this is the drinking water reservoir. 5 min later female (she was nice) ranger came and said her manager said we need to take down our sun umbrella, we asked how we suppose to keep our 6 month old out of the sun.
