Camped at the Peregrine camp site which is one of the two group sites of Eagle Ridge camp ground. Has electricity and a water hydrant which is located near the bathrooms, lighting but NOT INSIDE the bathrooms so bring headlamps to wear for at night when you use the restroom. We didn’t like how far away the RVs were but I think it just felt far away because we are used to camping at the Lynx campground And this is Our first time trying the group campsite. There’s also only one fire pit, and we are also used to each of us having our own fire By each of our tents. The host was amazing!! She came once a day to check in on us, other than that it felt secluded, which is what we were looking for! We kayaked but it was A bit of a trek transporting everything down to the water With a bunch of kids!! Next time we will pump everything up and put on our life jackets in the parking lot instead of taking everything down...
Read moreClean and fun group campground for if you have a lot of people getting together. There are several separate tent pads surrounding the central pavilion and along a short side walk. There is a trail nearby as well as a short walk down to the lake and about a two-mile loop road if you are interested in a short run while you stay. Even in the summer it is cool with a nice breeze most days.
