Great spot for a day camp, located in a lush forest in the mountains up Big Cottonwood Canyon. We reserved it for a family cookout. There’s a spigot with fresh water that made bottle refills and hand washing a breeze. Outhouse nearby.
Awesome to have a fire pit although it’s sunken into the ground which made it more dangerous for the kiddos, and the heat of it made it more difficult to roast marshmallows for the small ones.
