The good: the front desk staff were kind and the location is close to hiking trails and Red Rocks The bad: I had booked a 2 bedroom suite and received confirmation of this room. The morning of check in and went on to the app and saw that my room was a studio. I called and the woman said there were no 2 bedroom suites so they moved us to 2 studios that join together. I told her this wouldn’t work at all, we have a toddler and 3 adults, so we need the 2 bedrooms and living room that we had reserved. The worker put me on hold, came back and said she found a 2 bedroom for us. The space in the 2 bedroom was decent but the furniture in the living room was filthy and ripped. We felt so gross sitting on them so we got extra sheets and covered the furniture in sheets. There were also chunks of sheetrock missing around the windows. Breakfast had potential but had terrible execution. The eggs had a very funny smell and taste, the sausage was barely warm, omelets were lukewarm, and there were so many touch points for everyone to spread their germs with no nearby hand sanitizer. The biggest issue was that I took a yogurt from the small refrigerator, I noticed immediately that it was not cold. I looked at the fridge thermometer and it was in the “danger” bacteria zone of 55 degrees. I told this to the young staff person working there; he wasn’t initially concerned and said it had been like that all night. I told him the milk and yogurt will spoil at the temp and he said he’d go talk to a manager. At that point I didn’t feel comfortable that any of the food was prepared safely so we just made breakfast in our room. The high chairs near the dining room were filthy and one had a broken leg. There is a sign at the entrance that says no smoking within 25 feet. But then there is a large ash tray a few steps away on the sidewalk where everyone would gather to smoke. To walk in the building, we had to walk through the cloud of smoke with our toddler. Smokers need to be moved farther away from the entrance. Also, the pool was closed (but full of water) and it was 95 degrees out! Being this is a Marriott property, we were very disappointed and were expecting a much better experience.

I came into town at 2am after being towed in from a blizzard in the mountains. I called the main Marriott line and made a reservation to stay for the rest of the night. When I arrived, I was told that everything was completely booked. The woman at the front desk, Karin, was very compassionate and told me that there had been a misunderstanding between the national and local branch. She couldn't get me in at that time because the hotel was fully booked. She helped me try to find another place, but when she couldn't- she sorted it out so I would be able to stay the next night. She was kind and let me and my dogs come in from the cold to have coffee and warm up. I was sleeping in my car in the cold, expecting to wait until 3pm, but she called me at 8am-- Someone checked out early, and the staff hustled to get me in asap. The room was cozy and clean. You wouldn't expect things to be so tidy in a pet room, but everything was great. It had an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and a full refrigerator/freezer. There was an area outside with a grill, a fireplace, and a pool. They had dog beds and blankets to loan out during my stay, and tons of treats. There were several areas for dogs with poo bags and trashes. There were hiking and walking trails directly accessible from the property. Traveling with 2 giant mixed rescue dogs is really difficult. Traveling in a snowstorm is difficult. Even with all of these issues, Karin and Tanya saved us. I am so grateful that we found this place. I almost don't want to write a positive review, so that I can save this place for myself lol. But if you're looking for a nice, low-key place to stay close to Denver, this is 5/5.

This was the most disappointing Marriott experience I've had, we decided to leave befor are reserved days where over. My family and I stayed in a 2 bedroom sweet and I quickly found out why it was so cheap. The TV in the kids room did work for the entire stay, I told the front desk and it was never fixed. The TV in the main room had a big white line going through the center of it. The only TV that wasn't broken was the one in the main room and that even stopped working periodically because of the tenable internet. The room was supposed to be cleaned every other day which didn't not happen. I had to keep going to the front desk just so my family could have towels. Nothing ever got restocked. They only cleaned if we complained the still did a very poor job(no cleaned toilet/ shower). The room itself was very rundown. The fossette leaked, missing privacy curtain, holes in the black out curtain, dors didn't close right, no lock on the master room and cracks on the walls. The only savings grace was the breakfast and that was even hit or mis one day they just had microwave bonitos, they where frequently out of yogurt, cream cheese, and coffee. Also the TV in the breakfast room didn't work sometime. They also left the cleaning carts in the always for days (long after they where finished using them 1-2 days). I'm shore there is more but now I'm sick of even thinking about it. Only stay at this Marriott as a last resort.

This place really feels more like an apartment complex or maybe a timeshare condo, because it really is organized around longer stays, visits that require a kitchen and dishwasher and/or laundry facilities. There's a fairly ornate hardscape bbq area as well.

The service was beyond exemplary, but I want to specifically highlight Colin (dayshift), Alex (2nd shift) and Josh (if I got your name wrong, I apologize). They all went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as trouble-free as possible, but more important, they all had roles in ironing out a few potential hiccups or problems that I know other hotels would have ignored or exacerbated. In the hospitality industry, it really comes down to the people, and TownePlace in Littleton has the very best.

My stay was in room 117, which I think is the largest room template on offer. It's a spacious and sprawling warren of a galley kitchen that half-walls into the high ceiling TV room, where IKEA-esque modern furniture can easily be reconfigured depending on the size of your group or what you're attempting. This is also the business/desk area.

Off this great room is the powder room, which opens into the actual toilet and tub/shower. I like the partitioning of the toilet and tub area, but as a result, that space is somewhat cramped. I literally had to leave my clean clothes in the powder room & sink area bc in the shower room, there really was no place for them to be hung or set without likely getting wet from shower spray.

Also, the room came with only a partial roll of TP and roll of kitchen paper towels that had less than 15 perforated sheets left on the roll. No refills in the suite so I guess you'd have to ask for more. Luckily I always bring my own. The shower/tub had a wall mount of three pump containers: bodywash, shampoo and conditioner. The bodywash was almost completely empty but again, this is why I bring my own. The only towels I saw were small enough for me to wonder if they were body or hand towels. And I don't believe the suite had more than 4 on the ready, which seems weird if the layout sleeps up to six people.

Also branching off the great room are the two bedrooms. The one closest to the bathroom was the obvious master suite, with much more open space to sprawl or walk around. Both bedrooms had dreamy queen beds and were piled with pillows. And like the great room, both bedrooms had new-ish flat panel TV's mounted to their walls. They both also had decent sized double-door closets. (Yet only 2 mirrors in the whole suite, both in powder room.)

The smaller bedroom was a bit cramped. Opening the closet door swung just a hair's breath from making contact with the corner of the bed. But there was always room enough to move comfortably around.

My biggest complaint is about the three flat panel TV's. Basically none of them ever worked fully or properly. The living room TV had a weird audio issue--even turned up to maximum, volume remained gauzy, muddy and low enough to be drowned out by the ambient sound of the central air or heat. The TV in the master bedroom had a picture rendering problem that caused the image to break up and leave vertical tracers on the screen. It did this reliably about every 3rd minute for as long as I left it on over the course of a week. Turning it off for a few hours might get you less than 10 minutes of trouble free TV before the same thing would recur.

The smaller bedroom TV remote ON-OFF worked sometimes, but I just began using the TV's physical button bc this was the only TV I could watch anyway.

Now to be fair, I did not report these issues until the end of my stay bc I wasn't convinced all the problems were even solvable (audio problem seemed like speaker damage). So I just decided to live with the small br TV.

I know I spent a lot of time on some criticisms, but bc of the staff, my recommendation to stay here is unreserved and the answer to the question if I would stay here again is an equally...

My wife and I recently moved from CA and CO and stayed at this property for 10 weeks while waiting for our new home to be ready. We picked this hotel for several reasons: it’s a Marriott property; its proximity to my wife’s new office; we obviously wanted something with a living room and kitchen, and previous reviews on trip advisor.||Let me start this review with all the positives we encountered. Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. Specifically, Juan (head of maintenance), Tanya (head of housekeeping) and Adam (front desk) all tried to make our stay enjoyable. In addition, the room was clean, kitchen appliances all worked (need more utensils however), the bed was comfortable, and the shower always had hot water and great water pressure. In addition, the hotel GM, Sean Vanger, was friendly and really tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. ||However, we consistently had some challenges that I kept addressing with the hotel staff, that were either resolved but kept occurring, or just never fixed. First, our room had TV issues throughout the stay – almost daily. I was constantly told by staff it was because the TVs (Sunsanxin) were cheap and the “satellite connections were poor”. The TV reception was lost anytime there were thunderstorms in the area. The head of maintenance, Juan, told me on many occasions that he was fixing several TVs throughout the hotel EACH day, it was driving him crazy. After a while, it became comical. ||The breakfast selections were one of the worse my wife and I have ever seen, with VERY little variety. One day when I asked what happened to the bagels and yogurt, breakfast staff just smiled, shook their heads, and said, “no, we don’t have”. Breakfast was served 6-9am during the week and 7-10am on the weekends, however if you arrived after 9am on the weekend, almost everything was gone. We have stayed at many other TownePlace Suites before and every other location had a much larger breakfast with more choices, like waffle makers, pancakes, crispy bacon, etc. ||The hotel’s Wi-Fi was horrible, and I found myself losing connection several times daily. In fact, at one time during an important work conference call (I was working remotely from the hotel each day), I lost connection which was professionally embarrassing. One Sunday (8/6), the Wi-Fi was out for several hours.||We were told at check-in not to expect our room to be cleaned daily, which was totally fine with us. In fact, all we asked for was to have the room cleaned once a week, on Saturday, not an unreasonable request. However, when we reminded Sean one Saturday morning (7/29) that we would like to have our room cleaned that day, he said they were short staffed and would "try". To us, this was unacceptable. As a GM, he should have called around to other Marriott properties, to ask for help. When we returned that day, we found unfortunately the room had not been cleaned. We mentioned this to Tanya the next morning and she made sure to have our room cleaned that day, even saying, “I’ll clean it myself if I have to”. Again, asking for the room to be cleaned just once a week is NOT unreasonable.||Finally, staying during the hot summer months obviously required working AC units, but the bedroom AC unit was so loud, we had to turn it off during the night, resulting in sleeping over the covers in uncomfortable heat. The living room AC unit broke twice during our stay (almost starting a fire), resulting in Juan having to come fix it with new parts.||There were many times my wife and I thought about switching hotels, but we had a lot of stuff to move, and we thought what if the next place was just as bad, or worse. In the end, we decided to just stay and try and make the best of...
