Super 8 by Wyndham Waynesburg — Hotel in Franklin Township

1st & foremost, the place was clean & they didn’t up charge 500% for WVU graduation weekend like everywhere else within 45 min. Very convenient right off the highway. We arrived very late, about 1am, and were greeted by the owner who was very friendly & seemed to want to please & make sure we were happy with our room. Although a bit dated furnishing & fixture wise; I noticed the hallway carpets were very clean, as was the room. Bathroom was immaculate. Not even a tinge of mildew. The bed was a bit firm for my liking (not uncomfortable) but perfect for my husband. The pillows were very comfy for both of us. Bedding & towels were clean & fresh & the room was obviously recently painted with newer flooring. If not, it’s kept up very well. The coffee was good & continental breakfast as good as anywhere else but also included a waffle maker. I have 0 complaints & honestly hate to spend a lot when you just need a nice clean place to sleep.This fit the bill! Good soundproofing as well. Didn’t even hear my husband in the bathroom much less any “neighbor” noise. I also felt safe stepping outside alone as there were picnic tables right outside the door & I felt the owner was keeping an eye out. All around good, restful...

This place is rude,nasty,they ripped us off out of $600 and tried too tell us that we need too pay...I told them we done paid them and told them they took it off our card and he even heard the women on the phone..this place is no good for anybody..if you stay you better get cash and don't use a debit card..I was their 2 nights and 7 people total just in them 2 nighta complained and said the same thing that I went through.they are a total rip off...never again will I stay their its their lose not mine...they will try and get all they can get out of you or excuse you of doing something whenever it was already messed up and excpect you too pay for the damage...I can go on and on...them people need too go back where they came from and learn how too speak and understand English....and they gonna tell us we can't stay their anymore....and the manager whoever he is with the red star on his forehead yelling at us....I wish we could get the camera and report this....he was very very very...

The only thing that was decent about this place was the location. My husband and his helper have had to stay here for a few weeks due to work. The rates seem to go up all the time. I feel like they take advantage of people who are out of town working. I stayed with my husband for the week and would pick the room up. I politely set out trash and dirty linens evidently that is a big no no in their books. The rooms are the smallest I have ever stayed in and definitely not remodeled as stated. The hotel really did stink. After reading all the reviews, now I will be looking at my bank statements to see if they took any extra money. I'm glad I told my husband to go elsewhere. I just wish he would have done it sooner. Oh and beware of people trying to break into your vehicle. My husbands hoses were cut...
