Worst experience ever! The manager and workers are extremely rude nasty and definitely judgmental. As a gay woman coming to visit the mountains I thought my vacation with my two children and partner would be a sweet calm yet wonderful experience I am now cutting my vacation extremely short due to rude over bearing egotistical hotel owners and employees. I had ran out to have lunch with my children when got a text message asking me to return to the motel immediately and check out. ( A TEXT MESSGAE not a phone call not a knock on the door but a unprofessional Text message) when I asked why it was all due to over excessive traffic but when asked what the over excessive traffic was we were told it was us coming in and out the building and having cars parked next to our car and that in this motel or hotel they allowed zero visitors meaning if you are from out of town and come to visit and your family wants to come and see you or visit you in your hotel room it's not allowed. Who doesn't have visitors? I mean I paid for that room just like I would rent my home and now you're telling me I can't even have a visitor. And is like to add I did have a visitor. One visitor not three or four but One which was my brother who came in the room for 5 minutes to speak tonuis nieces and then left. And with that one visitor there was only one other vehicle that came into the parking lot that was associated with my room number 110 the duration of my stay. Other than that it was me and my female companion and my two children running out to lunch running out to last minute sporting events and once even for getting my keys. After giving excuses to try and check our room and finding nothing out of the ordinary the manager then told us that we could stay the two of us and our two children but that we were not allowed to have any visitors under any circumstances. I'm sorry but this is summer it's summer vacation for my kids other kids and other families people are visiting people come and visit the mountains all the time I mean y'all have non smoking rooms yet chastises us for going outside to smoke because we're making too much traffic I'm sorry but this was completely uncalled for unneeded and unrealistic. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone who has children a family or even a friend. And god forbid you might have a visitor. Honestly feel as tho me and my female conpanion where targeted for no other reason then being the couple that we are. We did nothing wrong nothing out of the ordinary. He had Targeted us since we first arrived sitting staring at us from his parked van across the parking lot. #CreeperStatus #GayPride #SummerVacation #LGBTQ+
We even cleaned up for you before we left. Stripped the beds, took our trash etc. but not because we did anything wrong but because my momma taught me better then that and my granny always said kill them...
Read moreTried booking a room for 2 nights through website, and boy, I didn’t think I was in for the headache that came with it. Got through all the booking information, clicked confirm booking. Then the website took me straight to the same review booking page with a red box at the top saying “Can not process at this time. Please call (some 1-800 number) for more information, and please try again. When I saw this I instantly felt regret even booking through the website where I needed a room for 2 nights where I was on my mini vacation. All the surrounding hotels were booked completely up, so seeing this message wouldn’t you think as well that this hotel was booked up as well?? I looked to see if a payment had been took out of my account for the room by chance.. No payment taken out. Then I logged on to my email to see if my room had went through and to see if I my payment miraculously went through. No email, even waited 30 minutes to make sure I’d get a confirmation email letting me know my room was ready... Nope! So I did what any other person would do, go with another place for the next two nights (luckily I found a nice little lodge that had rooms available, so blessed to of been able to find the place that I did). The next evening (3/20) I saw to my surprise that I was being charged half of what I thought didn’t go through, talk about being p’d off! Called the hotel informing them what all went on, got nothing out of it, had to talk to the manager. The next morning (2/21), I called the choice hotels customer support service about what went on with their website, after all they were the ones who run the site since it did kick me off. After talking to them (which they were nice and understanding) sided with me and understood that it was a big misunderstanding. They then processed to call this Comfort Inn and ended up talking to Rick (the manager, which with the reviews about the manager listed below stating that he’s rude, oh yea, that’s true). Customer support then got back on the phone with me and claimed that it’s still policy where I hadn’t shown up that you have to pay and that they were so very sorry for what all that has happened with the experience I was given... Really?! Not getting an email notice saying that your payment went through and your room is ready and nothing in the slightest of even giving me a hint to where my payment had went through?? But hey, I’m glad the manager acted the way he did. If he’s reading this review, just know that not only will I go out of my way to pass up Comfort Inn stays in the future and will be telling friends and family about my experience (I am a huge traveler, visited all 50 states before I hit 30), but I also won’t be using the Choice Hotel website for anymore bookings where this little stunt...
Read moreUnexpectedly needed a place to stay bc a family member was traveling through town and needed to go to hsp.
Extremely surprised by the "quality", "safety", "price" and "cleanliness."

At 11pm, they had one King handicap room left(same price as the double queens they had available as well.)
Quiet. Pleasant service and clean.
Full size breakfast INCLUDED in a private, comfortable, and clean dining room with a TV. Serving 6:30-9:30am.
FOOD: Plain bagels, white bread, and english muffins. Assorted jellies. Three types of cereals. Cream cheese and butter packages with 2% Milk in mini fridge. Plain oatmeal packages. Make your own waffles. Perfectly round scrambled eggs and sausages in heated container. Automatic coffee machine, including decaf and a BOLD button for stronger. Orange and cranberry juice dispenser.
The indoor pool is small and fairly clean at the end of the main floor hallway. Room was warm and had many seats. Quite private as well.
Stairwell carpets could get tossed as they were dingy and had a smell a little like rug glue according to my hubby. Main 1st floor hallway carpet looked new and had no smell.
Clean and pleasant elevator.
Room was very clean and extremely spacious. Course, it was a handicap room. It had an extra side suite space kitchenette with sink, counter, cabinets and table with chairs and a window!
Main bedroom has an under TV dresser microwave and fridge. Window with light white not exactly see-through curtain that could pull across window and a light blocker heavy duty curtain that stayed to the far right corner. (I wear an eye mask, but if not that would be too light for me.)
The floors were super clean and vinyl or laminate "wood" look. Much better than carpet!!!
Bed was super cozy and comfortable. Love the pillows. Not too thick or spongy where your head just bounces. They were perfect! Had my own pillow so had my magic three.
Air conditioner and fan worked well and effective. Hubby was allergic to whatever it blew and slept horribly bc he didn't have allergy medicine with him. His reaction stopped after turning it off. Maybe it needs cleaning?
Bathroom was very clean and loved the corner shower head. Great water pressure!!
Overall, extremely pleased with the experience! Total...
