Wow probably the worst taco bell I've ever been to. And there's not a very high bar there. Customer service was fine, but the food I actually got there tasted like I should be fertilizing a garden with it instead. I got two things for myself. A crunchwrap and one of those new nacho taco things. I'll start with the one that I haven't had before, the taco. It was for some reason 80% shredded lettuce. One would think taco bell would want to highlight the spices in their beef or maybe the cheese. But no, I got a taco that had a sprinkle of tomato, cheese, and beef and the rest of it was stuffed with lettuce. If I hadn't thrown it out I would be sharing a picture of it here. The cruchwrap, which I order at almost EVERY taco bell that I go to, was on first impressions fine. But then I opened it up to add my hotsauce and found that the GLOB of lettuce in the middle sprinkled by 5 pieces of diced tomatoes didn't even reach the edges. What's worse, is that underneath that where the meat and cheese are, whoever cooked the thing just made a straight line with each. Vertical line of cheese, vertical line of beef. NO attempt was made at even spreading it out. Also, the crunchy tortillas were UNDERCOOKED!!! How do you even mess those up? I was the only person in line, so it's not like they were rushed doing all this. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. My guess is that they prepped huge batches of all this stuff when they opened in order to supply their first customers upon opening the doors. As a former Sous Chef, I know the basics of restaurants and how to prepare for crowds etc... I believe they now open at 10 AM, and kitchen staffs come in an hour before opening to cook. YOU CANNOT SERVE FOOD IF ITS BEEN SITTING FOR 6 HOURS!!! So my point is either A) they serve food that doesn't meet FDA and food safety standards. Or B) they have some of the laziest employees in the history of fast food that can't be bothered to put in the bare minimum of effort into their food. I assure you that I will never eat here again unless something...
Read moreWhile I’m giving this restaurant an overall three-star rating based on its history in my town, my experience last night with the staff was so poor that it deserves zero stars.
I’ve lived here my entire life and have seen this restaurant go through its fair share of ups and downs—both in terms of food quality and staff turnover. However, I’ve never encountered anything like what happened last night, not even at fast-food chains.
When my husband and I visited, there were four or five people working in the back preparing food, one person on break, and one managing the drive-through. Inside the restaurant, there were only seven customers, including us: one man waiting on a takeout order for his family and three couples. The drive-through didn’t seem particularly busy either. Despite this, we waited 20 minutes for our food.
When our order was finally brought out, the server called my husband’s name and handed over the food with a tone and attitude that made it clear he considered fulfilling our order a burden. Sadly, it wasn’t just us—he treated the customers sitting near us in the same dismissive way.
The only bright spot in the staff was the young woman working the drive-through. Later, she came out to hand the man with the takeout order his food and even corrected an issue for him. She took the opportunity to criticize her coworkers for ignoring customers’ needs, and honestly, she was the only one I saw that evening who seemed to care at all about the customers (except for the man taking a break as he gets a pass).
This experience left a sour taste, and it’s unfortunate because this is my local spot, and I’ve always wanted to support it. I’ve had friends work in management there. Hopefully, the management can address the staffing issues and restore the level of service this...
Read moreWORST taco bell experience ever. We ordered on the Kiosk as many people were waiting at the front counter. All of the tables were sticky, messy and disgusting. Nothing was clean in the lobby. After waiting quite awhile, we decided that we wanted our money back and to leave. This was at least 10/15 mins later(definitely not what FAST food is like). After finally getting someone's attention behind the counter, this person was incoherent and was walking around doing nothing. I finally spoke louder and said I wanted a refund and we were leaving(20 mins later). The manager then said quietly -in which I heard- that he was not wasting his time dealing with it and it would wait. He was wasting our time and this was ridiculous. Multiple people were up front complaining and waiting very long for missing food and straws and lids. FINALLY, about 25/30 mins later, we get our food!!! Mind you, the people were SO focused on the drive thru, no one was helping anyone in the lobby or wanting us to get our fast food...fast. the manager does NOT know how to manage properly. Saying you won't get off the line to help the front, is and will ruin that business. Our food we got was cold. There was barely any meat on anything. Very very stingy with everything, and we paid almost $40!!!! My chicken was very hard. We barely ate anything. Worst fast food joint. Worst taco bell ever. If you can't do fast food or have the staff, then you need to change your business style or do something. You ruined our birthday evening. (Also, why does the lady running the drive thru do nothing else? She stood there most of the time and watched. She could have helped the front people....
