Stayed two nights for a funeral. Rooms were nice and breakfast was adequate. Hot tub was small but comfortably fit a single person. Stay started off great. Used the tub 6 times over two days. Family member got a little sick and had a small accident on the last night. Assuming it was an unfortunate part of hotel bedding, I wrapped up the sheet and very obviously drew attention to the issue on top. At checkout the staff had staff inspect the tub. The hotel manager then perp walked us to the room. Once inside he asks us to explain the mess on the sheets and the scum line on the used 6 times whirlpool. No level of explaining how whirlpool tubs in their own hotel work or stating the sheets and tub were in no way connected, or out of sheer embarrassment I don’t know what happened to those sheets worked. After ten minutes of back and forth I finally offered to buy the sheets. He charged us $40 for two used hotel sheets that my wife took home and easily washed white. This was bar none the most dehumanizing and demeaning experience of our lives. I just can’t believe a manager representing the hotel made us feel so belittled, childish, over something we never once hid. My partner literally cleaned the tub by hand to prove it was normal. After coming to our senses we called back and spoke with a very understanding and apologetic manager who assured us she or the owner would be calling tomorrow. We wanted them to understand what happened and also refund the sheets. Ten days later we called and were told more investigations were needed. A week later we were told since we took the sheets we wouldn’t be receiving our $40 back. No apology. It’s a shame, the stay was initially a nice reprieve. We'll never stay here again. Here’s the “soap scum” that the manager insisted was from our...
Read moreThis is a great night's stay for a reasonable price! Rooms are very clean and comfortable with neutral decor. Bathroom is sparkling, with new tub and fixtures, ample counter space and hot water. Beds and bedding are clean and comfortable. There is free hot breakfast, but rooms are equipped with coffee maker, microwave and small fridge.
A couple of minor "cons." I don't think there is an elevator, just stairs to 2nd floor. Also, the room's drapes may be only open or closed; there are no light-filtering sheers to allow both light and privacy. If you want daylight, that also comes with exposure to the neighbors. Last, the in-room coffee machine leaked, but that's unique to my room.
Location is great, within walking distance of several riverfront restaurants.
This isn't a posh luxury hotel with lots of amenities, but it is a clean and comfortable night's stay at a good price. I...

We stayed here for 1 night. We arrived on Saturday early morning. There were lots of parking spaces. The main lobby was typical in size. Check-in was quick. The front desk and cleaning staff were nice.
The room was clean and typically sized.
Flat screen, drawers, a nice desk, a chair, a full-sized mirror, a mini fridge, a microwave, iron, ironing board, luggage rack, hair dryer, tiny toiletries of shampoo, conditioner, soaps.
There were 2 usb-a and 2 outlets in the nightstand between the beds. Plus, there is another outlet or two on the base of the lamps.
The free breakfast was good! Saturday morning, they have bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and quiche. Then they the typical stuff - cereals, waffle maker, fruits, bagels, toast, coffee, hot chocolate, tea, milk, etc.
We enjoyed our quiet stay in this hotel.
Have a...
