We moved from Arizona to Spain and planned the trip so we could drive from az to ca and fly direct from sfo (airports are a bit too stressful for the pets so we tried to avoid the extra chaos of phx sky harbor). Most pet friendly hotels around the area were very expensive and limited the number of pets to one or two. Motel 6 was very accommodating and didn’t mind the number of pets (I bought 2 rooms because I had 3 people and 5 pets). The rooms were clean and the staff was very respectful. There were some grassy areas for the dog to do his business but we did have to walk through the parking lot. My one complaint was that they had beds with space underneath and previous occupants had torn holes in the bottom of the box spring which my cats found to be the best hiding spot. We ended up putting the box spring (which had legs attached to it) against the wall and sleeping with the mattress on the floor so the cats could not wedge themselves in spot we couldn’t get them out of. It would have been much easier if the bed frame went all the way to the floor, eliminating the under the bed hiding. Other than that, the room was set up nice and it worked really well for us.

This was my family’s first time in the fremont area. Our experience with this Motel 6 has completely changed our view of this area. From the dirty floors, to the poor plumbing, and the broken AC, no potential customer should spend their time at this location. And don’t get me started with the front staff and presumably the owner, absolutely terrible. DO NOT COME HERE.

I knew they were doing construction on the hotel however upon check in it would have been nice to have been informed that they were doing the construction right outside of my door literally, I would have asked for a different room before I brought my stuff in. It also would be nice to open a window, however, I'm am unable to because it's screwed shut...

First, I would stay here again if I needed to be in the area. The area is nice enough with food and the freeway nearby. The room has the basics for sleeping and cleaning up. The staff were friendly and very helpful to me in a situation I found myself in with another guest.

I didn't rate it higher because it lacked a microwave and mini fridge and coffeemaker, which I am used to having even at Motel 6. The room may have been painted not long ago but the veneer was coming off the furniture, almost as though the bottoms had gotten soaking wet. The door jambs in the bathroom had what appeared to be damage from water or insects, although I am not qualified to judge that. I found drips that looked like coffee or chocolate on the bathroom door. I did bring cleaning wipes and did wipe things down. I don't use hotel bedding but it looked clean. The shower water was hot enough for me and I love hot showers. The sinks drained fine and all appliances worked. There was an adequate number of outlets and the TV was modern enough and got good reception, although I had no idea what channels were which. I tried the paid version of the WiFi the first night and the free the second and didn't see much difference. It worked adequately. However, it is not secure and I did find an odd FB message on my tablet today. It may not be related but a reminder about using unsecure connection.

I got unwanted attention from another guest, who followed me around and kept making advances even after I told him to leave me alone. He even followed me to the nearby grocery store and to room, knocking on my door to ”see my room." I reported him to the office. They had already had odd encounters with him. One of the office staff walked me to move my car (I was too close to the smokers area with smokers outside my door) and I was given another room closer to the office. After I reported the man had followed me to the store and room, an office person said they were going to remove him. Had he approached me again I was going to call 9-1-1. I am 71 with a health condition and he was clean cut and not old. It was creepy. But I was impressed with the women in the office because they heard me and helped me. To be clear, I do not blame the hotel or location for this. My granddaughter's place in Newark that was high end had an incident the same night with a woman banging on doors and fighting with people and police were called. But this Motel 6 staff handled the situation as if the Motel 6 was a high-end hotel. ...

First of all the place was hidden and not easy to find. The key cards took multiple tries to open the door. The bathtub had no slip resistance of any kind (I almost fell multiple times in the shower), the water pressure was poor as well as the temperature regulation, and the shower walls were stained a color that just kept screaming a crime of murder took place in this bathroom. The toilet was so low I believe it to be designed for a child. The floors were dirty and I mean a film of dirt was apparent. The room numbers were not clearly marked on the outside of the building; despite the map in the office which was for office use only. The bed mattresses were so worn and used, that the bed I slept in, a spring was poking at me the entire night. The room is a non smoking room that had a stale smell of cigarette smoke. This establishment isn't to far from Stanford Hospital and I expected it to be more well kempt. After paying cash, and then seeing the apparent lack of maintenance and housekeeping at this particular Motel 6, I can say that I am more than disappointed and let down. If my stress over my surgery, travelling with my 77 year old father, and not being from this area wasn't a key factor here I would have asked for my money back and sought out another place to stay. The sheets were washed and clean but the other bedding was questionable. The towels, if you can call them that, were stained with what looked to be of boot marks. Thank Goodness I brought my own. Walking so far to get ice, in the office, not only was inconvenient but not ideal. To go out late at night for an elderly man or for a woman of any age is just begging for trouble and the possibility of a lawsuit if hurt, accosted, ect. I know not all of your Motel 6 establishments are this way but this kind of management could make a buisness like yours sink or swim by only word of mouth, especially being that many people have stayed there and will continue to before surgery. A social worker from the Standford Hospital had this Motel 6 in their printout of remarkable places to stay. I am calling that social worker back and telling her this is not a place for patients to stay and the reasons why; especially for cancer, transplant, and other critical patients that need a cleaner place to stay. Pluses are: the room had Dish Network and a nice t.v. with fair color quality, there was a small refrigerator (the door wasn't shut), and my stay was very...

this was actually the worst motel 6 to be honest the worst motel I've ever stayed at before!!! 1st off i booked 6 thats SIX rooms for my baseball team we had a tournament. We raised money over $500 to me thats not a little bit of money. i expected as your sign says in the front office "CLEAN FRIENDLY & SO ON" but what i got was a room that was taken already so i had to walk back to the front office to get a different room, let me tell you the office was clear on the other side of your BIG motel i was VERY tired from a long day of ball. then she gives me key for a room i already have so i have to walk back to get another room, she i ask "Cant you tell what rooms are open and taken already?" her attitude was as if i did wrong i should have just called from a room instead of coming back??? she said it with attitude. she gives me a room key that worked. but that's when my cousin runs out of the room yelling she just killed a cockroach OH NO!!! BY THEN 1/2 THE TEAM IS PASSED OUT i want to leave, but not being from the area i don't know if i can find a open room on a Saturday, i don't want my team driving around, so i walked BACK to the front office asking if we can be moved to a different section of motel thinking hopefully that section had been treated for roaches. she had some reason with an attitude and i wasnt trying to be loud as guest was coming in the lobby my husband ended up saying just forget it. we changed only the one room. the after going to bed about 1AM i get up to turn on the heater and OMG when i open the thing to control the temperature there was a YUCK gross old Cheetos stuck to the darn thing. i woke my husband up with a scream. he thought it was a bloody tampon. i got a tissue and removed it turned the heater on and was just grossed out i took a picture let me know i'll send it to you. i showed the front desk in the morning. then when i got up to use the bathroom i felt like i was hunting for roaches but i had a plastic bag stuck to leg YUCK!!! i took a pick of that too, that tells me the sheets hadnt been changed OMG WHY? WHY? OMG WHY? i payed $588 OMG fund-raised that money im so upset!!!...
