The staff are not responsible for the drink they provide to guests at all!!
I’ve been to YiFang many times but it’s my first time ordering brown sugar pearl matcha latte (黑糖粉圆抹茶鲜奶 in Chinese) due to the staff’s recommendation.
Personally I can’t drink any caffeine since child due to hypersensitivity and unable to metabolize. Before I putting the order, I asked the staff, face to face, if their brown sugar pearl matcha latte 黑糖粉圆抹茶鲜奶 contains any caffeine. I double checked the matcha by asking if the matcha they use contains caffeine. For both questions, the girl answered “no they don’t contain any caffeine” very affirmatively.
For people who know matcha, most of them contains caffeine due to they r made of green tea leaves. But for some on market, there r some low quality matcha powder made of others or some matcha powder are made to be caffeine free. So I trusted the girl staff that the matcha they use is caffeine free and ordered it.
I m a very routine person and never had sleeping issues. Usually sleep 10 PM to 7AM.
But now, I m awake till 9AM (no sleep at all) and I get so many things to do today. It turns out your drink does contain caffeine!!!!!!!
I feel so angry and frustrated… I m also lucky that I don’t have allergies to caffeine, otherwise you r literally killing people. I can’t trust you would care for people who have allergies to any food such as milk (and ordered sub with oat milk) to put in right...

Yifang always makes for a solid choice for either tea or boba which makes it very convenient for indecisive people. What's even better is this location specifically can do online orders where you pay online and do contactless pickup directly through them without having to use an app. The turnaround is pretty fast (~15 min) usually which is great.
They have their process streamlined for covid-19 where you don't have to go in at all and they have everything ready on the pickup tables.
Yifang has solid tea so I always recommend their signature fruit tea (if you're really into fruity tea) or their salted cream mountain tea if you want a strong tea flavor with a little bit of creaminess. If you're going for something decadent and delicious, I highly recommend their brown sugar pearl latte or brown sugar pearl matcha latte. I personally prefer the matcha version just because the bitterness of the matcha balances the sweetness of the brown sugar pearls perfectly. Their Kyoto Uji Matcha Latte is also really good if you're a matcha fan.
I usually get my drinks at 50% sweet so there's a clear taste of sweetness but it's not overpowering. Their 50% sweetness is pretty on par with most boba places but it is sweeter than Teaspoon 50% sweet and less sweet than 50% sweet at Happy Lemon (just for...

Brown Sugar Pearl Uji Matcha Latte with soy milk & Brown Sugar Pearl Cocoa Latte - the pearls were warm, soft and downright delicious. I usually don't like pearls but this alone gives this place a glowing review. The drink itself wasn't very sweet which I liked and having tasted various matcha prior, I can tell this is good quality matcha. I appreciate that they have three different milk substitutes: oat, almond, and soy. My husband got the cocoa latte and he normally isn't a fan of pearls either but agreed the pearls here are yummy! Also, I love that a third of the cup is just delicious pearls!
Mango Fruit Tea - you can see there is fresh passion fruit in here! There's also slices of apple and orange which adds to the flavor. All four fruity flavors mix well together and is very refreshing especially with this current heatwave.
This shop may seem pricer than other boba shops but that's because the quality is indeed premium! It's well worth the price. I will be...
