My mom has lived at the Vineyards almost 2 years now. While it was a difficult move and adjustment for her, we are so thankful we brought her here. Even she has come to realize this was the best move and place for her. She often comments on the loving patient care of the staff here. She has lived in assisted living, skilled nursing and now cognitive care. I have nothing but praise for the staff here. I appreciate the communication and cooperation between the sitesassires the best placement and care of a resident. I appreciate the staff at cognitive care soooo much. They keep me updated as to her condition and any medicine or care changes. They regularly communicate with her PA and are quick to notice any health or cognitive changes in my mom. They were able to get rapid care for a minor stroke which she thankfully recovered quickly from. Her main complaint living there is the food (it’s healthier food than she’s probably eaten in her life 😉)and the influx of Alzheimer’s patients since they doubled the size of what was called Memory care. She just has dimentia and it’s depressing for her to see her friends decline. She tells me that even if she declines like that, she knows she’ll be lovingly and patiently cared for. I can’t say enough good things about the staff that care for her on a daily basis!! I am...
Read moreThe star rating doesn't work here. The vineyards is in a different galaxy. I have a luxurious, one bedroom apartment. Unbelievable, but I have washer, dryer, disposal, dishwasher, and great fridge, with water, and ice. Rent is $300 less than where I left, near Woodward Park, with none of the above. Even better, management and staff are helpful, and responsive. Activities, and outings, make leisure time fun. Residents all speak lovingly about their happy lives here. I hear about one drawback here (not from residents). It is a few extra minutes away, getting here. The excellent transportation department makes up for that. I found many folks here, like me, who are very happy refugees from...
Read moreI cannot speak highly enough about The Vineyards. My father was a resident there for more than five years, first in independent living and later in assisted living. From the very first day, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The staff is exceptional—attentive, compassionate, and always going above and beyond to ensure residents feel truly at home. The community itself is beautifully maintained, with inviting outdoor spaces and comfortable common areas. My dad thrived in this environment, enjoying the engaging activities, delicious meals, and the wonderful sense of camaraderie among residents. He remained happy and well cared for until his recent passing at...
