Sunset Inn — Hotel in Friendsville

Due to a few plans going awry, we booked over the phone at 10pm on a rainy Friday night. Mary and Joseph, the couple that run the Inn, were incredibly accommodating and friendly, very helpful, and gave us a great rate. The rooms were large, very clean, and comfortable, included refrigerator and coffee maker, small table. The only drawback was that the walls were a little thin, and the couple in the unit above us had a very loud 2am fight that involved a lot of stomping around, but that is not the establishment's fault. The sweetest couple owns this place! Very warm and inviting environment. The rooms are clean; updated AC, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. The furniture is a little dated but still very clean. My room has two sitting areas with tables, so lots of space for your stuff. Another thing I was happy to see were the nice towels in the bathroom lol. I know that’s a weird thing to compliment but I stay in motels for weeks at a time for work, and this place has really soft towels. Would definitely stay here again....
