Warm and cozy winter retreat with the ladies. We enjoyed the nice view with our morning coffee. The soaking tub was great too! It was clean and quiet and beautifully decorated. I found the beds really comfy too. The kitchen had everything I needed for cooking my own meals. When we did venture out We had a great time at JJs Birds nest sharing appetizers and popcorn while trying our luck at pull tabs. We were also happy with the small small grocery store nearby for pick up some ice and snacks. There’s a lot of fun areas and lookouts nearby and this is conveniently located to the casino and hiking trails. Wish we could have stayed longer but I have a list of places I hope to check out on our next stay. We had an AMAZING weekend here!!! We rented the entire house and we each had our own room, even if we rented the bottom half would be just as delightful. We were a party of 2 mom's and 2 daughters and we had so much space to enjoy our time, which again, was AMAZING!!! There's NOTHING that was not thought of here. From the bed linens, the towels ( the most plush ever!!) To the coffee maker AND coffee to the shampoo and other bath essentials. I took a bath in one of the baths upstairs as I looked at the lake. Spent the weekend at Del Mar Dunes with 8 women from different parts of my life—most of us came as strangers and left as friends. The house was the perfect reset: calm, quiet, and beautifully set up for connection and personal space. Mornings with coffee and sunrise views from the picture windows were magical, and the quick walk to the lake made for peaceful sand walks that felt like a Minnesota version of the ocean.
