UPDATE: My daughter’s bed makes a strange noise (like a spring popping) when sitting in the middle and moving a certain way. She can replicate the popping sound 100% of the time once she finds the right spot. When we purchased it, Liam said he had no way of knowing which mattresses were returns and which were new. However, after closer inspection, the tag on my daughter’s mattress clearly reads “secondary mattress - no warranty”. The manufacturer will not stand behind the product. I went back to the store the next day and looked at all the tags. They all said “secondary mattress - no warranty”. I asked the sales associate (Brendan) about that and he admitted “most” were factory returns with no way of knowing the defect. (They repeatedly stated all mattresses were thoroughly cleaned and inspected before being put out on the floor.) Further, you can’t personally inspect the mattress thoroughly until you get it home as it is encased in thick plastic. Once home, it’s yours to keep. So buyer beware! Further, the prices are good but to be able to exchange (for another used mattress you can’t truly inspect with a potentially more serious issue) you need to buy a very expensive mattress pad to get a 120-day “warranty”. Once you add that cost in, it’s the price of a good, brand new mattress with 10-year manufacturer warranty. I gave 2 stars because aside from the single spring issue in the middle of the bed (a true manufacturer’s defect), my 100-lb daughter is able to sleep comfortably on the mattress, for now.

Good deal on a Seemingly good mattress. Liam was very attentive and informative, notwithstanding the constant flow of customers. So...I Needed a mattress asap.. b.c. we were moving & the mattress I have currently that I'm sleeping on has holes. Yes, it is old. No judgment! My bf parents gifted me "a new mattress" for xmas 2018..i just had to pick one out. But I'm picky & hate haggling. Hate! I just didn't want to deal with sales people, haggling, etc.. so I continued to sleep on my mattress that my bf said it was so "holey", he was surprised I didn't fall into yet. Lol We checked a few stores out, and hated the sales people, the process, the hassle. So I gave up for about 6 months. Cue to TODAY 7/24/19. This was the day my bf Mike told me to put on my "PATIENCE PANTS" ( b.c. I don't have any patience) bc he was gonna take me to a place near our soon to be ex home in Batavia.. right off Fabyan & 31. BMC MATTRESS! I sucked it up after a long day at work. I walked in... told the lovely bearded man.. named JESSE (Regional Mgr) I need a firm queen mattress for $600 ( bc it was a gift). He sat us down, explain they were liquidators for Sealy & other brand of mattresses. And they do these buddle deals too! I love a bundle where you save money! 😍 long story short: I got the firmest mattress which I loooove, mattress protective cover with a box spring, (we didn't need a frame fyi.. but u can get one in your bundle if needed), 2 top of the line cooling queen size pillows, with covers! All for: $699! .. that included tax & delivery! And yes tax was more than delivery! ( you can't blame them, blame the state of ILL!) No effing lie! We were in and out in 15 mins!!!! I have driven by this store numerous times as it is in the old Campana building. An ideal location near a stop light and gas station. One day I decided I needed a new mattress and it was BMC mattress that came to mind. I am so glad that I went here! As I entered the building, I was astounded by all the mattresses. It is like a mattress outlet store. I was welcomed by Brendan who happily showed me around the store. With so many mattresses I had a hard time with deciding exactly what I wanted. He asked questions about what I preferred. Do I like a firm mattress or a soft mattress? Do I use it strictly for sleeping or did I want an adjustable base for reading and watching TV? These questions helped form my decision. I settled for the Sealy Hybrid. The price was very reasonable, and the sale went quickly. They had it delivered within a few days. Two gentlemen (whom I tipped handsomely for all their work) came in and removed the old mattress and then carried in the brand-new mattress. It is thick enough that I did not even need a box spring. And the comfort! OMG! I look forward to climbing into bed in the evening! Lol. To summarize, I had an exceptionally good experience.
