I had the worst experience you could possibly have here. The room stunk terribly. I bought febreze, sprayed it all over, left several air freshners around the room. It didn't work. When I moved out, every single item that I brought with me smelled terribly. The vents or some part of the room takes in all the smoke and smells from the other rooms and outside. And you are dealing with at least 5 rooms surrounding you.
Paper thin walls. You can hear everything. So if someone flushes the toilet, you can hear draining and the water running through the pipes. The refrig sounded like a screeching plumbing problem but also like the ac had a backfire startup.
The reviews that say that this is a druggie outpost, are not lying. I was peeking out quite a bit because it was a very happening place on the side close to the restaurant. And there was a lot of weird meet ups there. You don't have to be a drug expert to figure out what was going on. A lot of shady people were around. There was even a pregnant woman who would be smoking as she went to meet some really creepy looking men. I kidd you not. So the neighbors: a few just smokers, and people who came home late but to the right side were addicts, above me an awful man in his twenties was a dangerous mentally unstable person. Somehow most of the people didn't work but you could tell they're not vacationing visitors and they actually live there. I don't know how they pay. Also if you do think someone went through your room it's probably true. I put the sign up to not be disturbed and also told the front desk that I wouldn't need cleaning services for a few days. Well I noticed one of the cleaning ladies seemed to be watching my pattern of leaving. She was older, white, shriveled face. Her aged appearance is mostly due to her smoking, and drugs. You can tell she's a drug addict. Well you may be tricked by the old white lady look, but if you really look you can tell. Anyway, I noticed her watching me so I got in my car, drove around the lot and there she was opening my door. I let her know that I didn't need service and pointed at the do not disturb sign I had. She couldn't even make up an excuse but started offering supplies and then acted like she needed to get back to the room a few doors down where her cart was at. I told the front desk lady, who said that my room wasn't scheduled for a cleaning. She was friends with the addict cleaning lady. They stood around and smoked together many times.
You have to get a card to use the washers and the machine took 5 dollars from my credit card but did not credit it to my card for washing clothes. The office does not take care of that. You have to call a number. Basically I didn't get my money back. Also the office people will not accommodate you when there are problems. The refrigerator problem was terrible. I let them know, and the office lady made it seem like if it was not an issue. I just unplugged it and all my food spoiled. I saw 2 different refrigerators being replaced in different rooms within a week. I don't think that was a coincidence. Next, the neighbor situation was the worst of it. I was having trouble with two neighbors. When people don't work and are on drugs, they always go after whomever they can. It became dangerous with the mentally unstable guy above me. I asked the management to resolve it by moving me elsewhere. So the man from the office originally said there was a room available at the same rate but I needed to leave at the moment and would come back later. So I came back to make the changes and the lady manager says there's no available room and I couldn't move. But I insisted that there were major problems with neighbors and I needed to move. She kept saying that it was absolutely not possible for me to move. But finally, she "finds" an open room (how she went from absolutely no rooms, to finding a room while I was talking to her was magical ) but I would have to pay over a $100 more per week for it. In that dump. It was already overpriced where I was. I moved out...
Read moreI checked in 12/20/2024. Upon my arrival the manger said “I was just about to call you; I said “why?!” In a perplexed and puzzled way. She said “to confirm you were still coming” mind you, check in is at 11am and it’s barely past noon. I requested the traditional room online and the manager had me view room 366 I believe - it was shabby! Looked like a sagging bed and sticky carpet - dark and uninviting. So I allowed the upgrade for $100 plus another $50 refundable deposit. so that I could gain a bath tub and so that I didn’t have to sleep on that gross bed for a week.
In under 2 hours of checking in; the manager came to welcome me and to ensure that her passkey worked.
Odd - seriously a waste of my time.
Why did she feel the need today, while I was at the lake, to come; verify I was not there and search my room? I gave no indications of someone you might consider is doing drugs. Why did she feel the need to shuffle through my trash?
Apparently while I was at the lake today she did enter my room and searched through my things, including my trash.
My boyfriend fishes at canals and had found a bucket of dope pipes - we did not know how to dispose of them late 12/20 and as I mentored we went to the lake all day; at 1:30am I arrived back to the suites and was unable to enter my room which $497 paid for. I was able to get into the laundry room. Interesting - so my boyfriend who was helping me carry my things inside spotted a number in that laundry room and I was able to reach the security guy. He stated I needed to wait for him at the office. Upon his arrival I went to take out my identification and he said “I know who you are” he informed me that I was evicted that I had one hour to gather my things and leave or he would call the police. I have never even had a ticket! Seriously?! I must admit I didn’t know my rights. He stated that he would call the police now - because I was not arguing but I told him I was going to contact corporate. If I had dope pipes in the room, then why did I invite him to come into the room to see for himself. He freaked out when he looked in the trash: “those are crack pipes in the trash now i will call the police because you invited me in and I saw those” - I freaked out because I had forgotten about the “find”. Ethan told him that he found them. One hour to get your stuff and that Ethan was not an approved guest. He was not behaving as one; he was helping me carry my things inside.
My boyfriend and I were going to turn over the pipes to the police on Sunday but being evicted with no call, email, or text to me whatsoever to discuss this is highly unacceptable. How can you think that that is a fair way to treat a paid guest? I demand a refund immediately. I paid you immediately- I deserve the same respect. As of now, I’ve lost the $497 and I have no place to live and no money; it’s almost Christmas and I chose your establishment as a safe, clean place to spend my Christmas. I chose you - just because you didn’t choose me, doesn’t mean that I’m undesirable as a guest.
I’m sleeping in the front seat of my car now and through Christmas! I have work this week and I have to figure out where to bathe; I work hard but that’s nothing yo you.
How dare you say great things about your establishment. You are mean and cruel. You are hiring people that represent you in a negative light.
You are remodeling? Great! I have a feeling that room 366 is used to force people to upgrade. There’s no way you rent that gross room out to anyone; sounds like bait n switch to me.
I will advise you of the information from the police as I will be turning over those pipes; now why ever would I do that if I could be associated with them - what a freaking joke!
If it was MY drug paraphernalia why didn’t she call the police and file a report?
I turned the dope pipes (all broken) over to Gilbert Police Department case #2024-188841.
Appears this woman crystal never checked me out when she evicted me WTF
Ya know, the offender has left an...
Read moreTHE WORST POSSIBLE EXPERIENCE. My elderly parents and I spent 34 days in this place and it was regrettable. Where do I start? I'll say the good since it's short: the pool works, it's heated and it's open during Winter, and there is a restaurant with beer/wine bar next door. First, we moved here from out-of-state. Our reservations were made 45 or so days in advance and we asked for a non-smoking room. What we got was a "non-smoking" room that wreaked of cigarette smoke. We didn't catch it until after we moved in because they saturated the room with a mix of cleaning chemicals and fragrance. The first 48 hours were hard, my mother and I had our eyes burning and breathing issues from the chemicals. Once that stench was driven out after opening windows and running the A/C to clear it out, that's when we realized the room was saturated in nicotine stench. I wiped the walls and dingy brown nicotine was everywhere. There were several cigarette burns on the bathroom counter and light brown vertical streaks on the walls from shower condensation and nicotine mixing and staining the walls. When I complained a few days later, we were offered one alternative: a non-smoking room but it had the hard, downgraded beds. By that time it was too late. All of our clothing, my CPAP machine, my leather briefcase, etc. were saturated in second-hand cigarette filth. I sent an email to the manager about it that was ignored. Then, there was only one chair in the kitchenette table set, by their own admission there should have been TWO. I explaned my parents are well in their 70s and infirm and needed that chair. I was told, after 8 days and 4 personal front office visits, that they would find a chair. We were again ignored altogether. A week or so later I asked the after-hours security/maintenance PROFESSIONAL, who I knew as Steve, for a chair and told him that my parents were elderly and needed that chair. He brought a chair to the room within 15 minutes. The front office staff are 100% useless. They will politely listen to your concerns and if possible blow you off and ignore you completely, no matter how polite and respectful you are to them. Furthermore, my vehicle was burglarized. That's when I realized there were NO security cameras watching that property except inside/outside the front office for THEIR protection. While this place is deep inside an industrial/business park community/area, the police patrol the hotel daily and they're called there frequently. The occupants are primarily low-income and there's no end to the shady characters walking the halls wearing hoodies and smoking cigarettes. If you're a cigarette smoker you'll love this place. I've seen the elevator floor soaked in urine at times, at other times vomit, seen vomit on the deck in the hallway, and people smoke in the elevators. If you do decide to stay here, I'll offer a few tips: don't take their word that the room is non-smoking. Inspect the room for evidence of past smoking by wiping the walls with wet paper towels. You won't smell the smoke until the cleaning chemicals fade. Second, make sure and get a room with the upgraded beds. Third, keep your valuables locked in the trunk of your vehicle. Do not leave valuables in your room unattended. Fourth, IMHO it is not safe to walk that property at night unarmed, period, and as stated, they have no cameras or security guard actively patrolling and weapons are banned. They have ZERO regard for you as a customer/tenant because they don't need you or...
