I went in looking for an ottoman to try and match a Robert Michael couch, that is no longer in business. To my surprise and after a lot of research, I contacted V-Dub Furniture and found that they were able to assist me. I decided to go down and take a look at what they had. There was a very similar couch and ottoman to what I was looking for, but it was not exact, and exact is what I was looking for. The gentleman shared some custom options with me, and showed me some samples of cloth...and guess what?! One sample was the EXACT color and fabric, matching my existing piece! So, we ordered a custom ottoman, with the dimensions we wanted, in the cocktail style. While we were there, we were also told that they could do custom throw pillows, so we ordered a couple of throw pillows with the backing of our existing fabric on our couch, and the front, having a design of our choosing. We were beyond excited, but our great experience does NOT end there! When we went to pick up our ottoman, in casual conversation, expressing how after 10 years, our couch filled with feathers and down, were slightly frustrating to keep fluffing after each use. Nelson suggested that we try adding this thick material to our pillows, so we took a sample in to have them do one pillow (as I was concerned that my super comfy couch would no longer be super comfy with adding a firmness to it), boy was I wrong! The couch pillow is still super comfy, but now has a firmness to the look of it and I don't have to fluff it several times a day, even after my boxer has made it her bed for the day! :) STILL DOESN"T END HERE! I have a chaise to my couch, and somehow, over the years, the existing cover to the internal foam (so nothing the eye could see), had been ripped and every time we would sit on the chaise, it would sink in with no elasticity to it. Upon discussing, I learned that I could order the exact replacement. I was sooo excited! BUT...there's more! Nelson suggested another option, and that was to put a similar covering that we had done with the pillow, which would yield the same result, for far less money. I was super skeptical, but in the interest in saving some money, I thought I would give it a try!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Not only is it better than what I was hoping, it's like we replenished and brought our couch back to life! We are now going to take all the remaining couch cushions and back pillows in to have them restore our entire couch to it's formal glory. AND if all of the above is not enough, the turnaround time is absolutely amazing! The staff is BEYOND helpful! They take time to listen to what you are saying, they provide you with options, they work to find creative ways to save you money, and people, I am telling you that I ONLY take the time to do a review if the service exceeds my expectations, and the service, options, quality, friendliness, etc., that I have received with V-Dub, beyond exceeds my expectations! I will refer this place to anyone looking to buy furniture, restoring your couch to it's formal glory, to customize furniture, order special items, customize throw pillows, etc. Nelson, Elliot, the time that you spent over the phone with me, the time and effort that you have taken with us in the store, the options you have provided, the level of customer service we have received, the cost-savings options, and on and on, I can honestly tell you that we feel like we were treated like family and you have gone above and beyond and have earned our service for life! I will be telling anyone and everyone, and will be sharing this on various social media sites, because our experience has been beyond amazing, and I truly never expected to have this kind of experience in, what started as looking for an ottoman, to what the end result and peace of mind, and happiness that you have provided to my family and me! Read moreI really tried to like this store despite all the reviews I did see… please save your time and the headache the back in fourth . When I first went to the location the guy Eliot seems like really great guy was greeted when I walked in . One the red flag should’ve been I seen this ad on Facebook /OfferUp at first , I thought maybe they were scam. But I decide to still go through check this out. I visited the store November 18th I walked around the store bit end up liking a sectional and ottoman another couple was look at the same furniture and the store only had just one in stock the owner stated this couple does not have any furniture was also purchasing other things from them if it was okay if he can sale it to them and he give me a discount and or free delivery of my purchase. He stated turn around time will be 2 weeks or so I agree because I still had my previous couches just was looking for upgraded I figure 2 weeks will give me enough time to get my current furniture out. Biggest mistake was agreeing to go through the lease option after I sign the contract at the store with the finance company I was told someone will reach out to me to set up the term of the lease . Since I want to obviously pay off my furniture within 60 days .. I have never lease furniture before but I decided to just do it as the process seem so seamless. So fast forward I wait the two weeks and never received the delivery I then contact the store multiple times they never answer I sent email out to them as well no response . So I then received a call from Eliot telling me “hey we received your sectional the ottoman wasn’t on the delivery but we will have it within 3 days so would you like me bring the sectional now and then in 3 days we will delivery the other part of furniture. I stated to him well if it’s only 3 days I would just wait so you can delivery everything together mind you I was offered free delivery of the furniture. So then he stated if anything changes he give me call and that he apologized, I try be mindful it’s holidays thanksgiving etc…So 3 days past no call from him regarding if the other piece came. I then got up next day received a charged from the leasing company which again I never even received a call from them to even consent to set my payments or dates as Eliot told me that is the process. So fine I figure I’ll take that up with the finance company and my bank! So I couldn’t get a hold of the store I figure well at this point ,If I’m being charged for something I have not received then I am going down to the store for updated since I’m unable to reach by phone , So my partner went down there for me on 12/15 and the was told we been had the sectional she told me not to delivery it until the other piece arrived , So now I felt as he try to Manipulated me as if it was my fault because I agree to received the items together which again I only agree because I was promised 3 days timeframe. So my partner told him we will just get the couch they set up delivery for next day . So cool I then received the sectional on December 16th . I was told the other piece we will received a call when it arrives. My partner just agree when it comes just give us a call we come pick it up ourselves . So fast forward it is now January 10th and still have not received the other piece I was told by the finance company the store told them it be ready for me Pickup on December 27th . So I called last week was told Tuesday Jan 9th they will call me back with update I never received a call from V-DUB . This whole process has frustrated me to the max it seem the store selling things or promising you delivery dates don’t even know they own turn around Times .I DONT UNDERSTAND how this busy is running as it’s just bad on so many levels.Simply don’t sale things you can’t delivered we have past 2 holidays already new year still received only part of an order . Save your money your time of course the prices of couches will bring you in but their business I would never...
Read moreI normally don't do reviews especially bad reviews but it has come to this. They don't even deserve a 1 star rating. I ordered a replacement part for my sectional purchased through this store back in Jan 18th, 2020. The delivery date went from Feb, March and then promised in April. It is now December and I still haven't received my replacement. After numerous calls, voicemails and emails sent several months later still no replacement. Its been exactly 11 months since my claim was placed and the order for the replacement was supposedly ordered. Unless, you want to spend money and deal with a company that will become MIA for whatever reason "I WOULD NOT" purchase anything from them. They have showed me repeatedly once you spend your money as a customer you are out of sight and out of mind. Why would you offer a warranty if you can not use it? Why would you have a business phone if no one ever answers the phone or return your calls? Why would you have a business email if I only get a reply after sending multiple emails and leaving numerous messages on my behalf. I have been given the run around for almost a year. They give a lot of promises but do not follow through. All of the high rating reviews I believe are a lie because all of the low rating reviews the situations/complaints are very similar, what an coincidence. Don't allow any business to get your money you work hard for then go ghost on you when you want to take advantage of the warranty you purchased. I have never had such a terrible experience with any other furniture company I've used until now. The owner should be ashamed and I hope they can sleep well with the unethical business practices. And if the owner is not aware then they better check in with how the business is going. I sent an email 2 weeks ago to Elliot no response for days and I left several messages and no response. I have reported them to the BBB because I can't believe this business. Don't waste your money or your time with anything in their showroom because you may end up with a purchase, money lost and a couch warranty that apparently doesn't exist. I have been pleasant and very understanding with the pandemic excuses given but enough is enough! If you're smart beware and go spend your money somewhere else. I've had wonderful experiences at Ashley's, Pruitts, Crate n Barrel, Pottery Barn and American Furniture Warehouse just to name a few. Spend your money where you will get the service you deserve! I am an advocate for supporting local businesses and boy it's been an very unpleasant experience now a sectional with broken parts and a purchased warranty that doesn't exist. I called last week and left an a message no name just asking a return call about my order. I received a return call at 6:21pm (the second return call in 11 months) and a message was left to call tomorrow at 10am because they were leaving for the day. I called the next morning and guess what had to leave another message. Update: spoke to associate should be received in a week and delivered to me shortly after. I have no problem updating this review if my order is received but we're 1 1/2 month shy of waiting a whole year. We can all agree the timeline is ridiculous and how many customers in the past have quit trying...
