I'm a big fan of family-owned, so when it came time to outfit my personal vehicle with warning devices and I had the opportunity to buy a used 970L, I jumped right on it. Despite being almost 10 years old, this piece of used equipment works like new. Unlike other major warning device manufacturers' products, the lights are hermetically sealed and modular, so I have zero moisture problems, even through freezing Ohio winter. I bought new endcaps for the bar and it now looks AND works like new. One of my lieutenants said he's jealous because my lights are significantly brighter than the Duty officer's car (and we use equipment at the department from that one company that starts with W)! Every time I've called customer service I've gotten a human being on like the fourth ring, the quality is unbeatable, and the retinas of the general public will cower in fear because this stuff is bright!
