SureStay by Best Western Greenville — Hotel in Greenville

The hotel was exactly what we had expected, and all we had hoped for it to be. We read a bunch of reviews on the drive there, and the negative reviews were either unfounded or accidentally posted about a different Surestay location, (not the Greenville OH facility). It was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the continental breakfast was a perfectly suitable "continental breakfast", (no more or less than should be expected). Everyone was very nice.

The connected restaurant, (Jack's Cabin), was a lovely bonus. Everything we wanted was 100' down the hall, and the food was great! The hostess was a very sweet young lady who was a one woman show, (she did everything except cook and buss tables), and her boyfriend was the chef. The food was excellent, and even though you would think our server may have become overwhelmed, (because they were surprisingly busy for the location), she was consistently calm, reassuring, and absolutely wonderful in a way that prompted this comment to be posted.

If we are ever back in Greenville OH in the future, this is where I would wish to stay.

😊: The location to Eldora Speedway was great. The hotel was generally clean.. 😢: It is a 2 story walk-up with no elevator. The breakfast was very basic with yogurts, bagels, cereal and a waffle machine. We stayed 2 nights and the room was not made up after the first night. We came back to the room the 2nd night, sweaty and in of a shower after being at a dirt racetrack all day, and there was no soap or shampoo. The bathroom had not been cleaned, the garbage was not emptied, floors not swept. The a/c did not work properly in that...

I am highly disappointed in how this hotel is still open. The room smells of mold/mildew when you walk in. I felt like I needed shower shoes to take a shower. We paid $150 a night during DTWC 2025. This is not worth that much. The housekeepers and front desk receptionist were very nice and accommodating though. They have plenty of pool tables, basketball hooping game, race car game, dart game, and a couple claw machines in the game room which was pretty cool! You can also sit and watch the game while...
