Walked into the place. The waitress gave me a dirty look like i was another hassle for her she also let out a sigh. I was coming in at 1pm and the place did close at 2pm. I let her know i didnt know what i wanted yet. So she let others know she was going outside. My guess was to smoke. During this i seen the cook come out and he looked like he had no idea what he was doing. The cook let the waitress know they didnt have any mashed potatoes left. Also, they only take cash or checks. I was not pleased with the service from this waitress and i left when she went out to smoke. This waitress also rolled her eyes and went "uh" when another girl came in after me...

We're "out of towners" and we absolutely loved this place. It's everything a small town diner should be with good home-cooked food, excellent service and great prices. My husband and I both had the outlaw steak sandwiches (delicious!) and I had perfectly cooked onion rings for the side. One of children had amazing pancakes with a giant sausage patty that were both some of the best we've ever had! Another kids had a huge omellete (3 little pigs) stuffed full of bacon, sausage and ham. Kudos to keeping small town small town Cole's! Hope we get back...

Always good food, friendly staff & sometimes you might have to sit at a table with strangers but they don't treat you like a stranger. Currently I think it's the best place for breakfast & is likely to be chosen #1 best place in 2023 by the locals as they have several times before.
