Walked into the place. The waitress gave me a dirty look like i was another hassle for her she also let out a sigh. I was coming in at 1pm and the place did close at 2pm. I let her know i didnt know what i wanted yet. So she let others know she was going outside. My guess was to smoke. During this i seen the cook come out and he looked like he had no idea what he was doing. The cook let the waitress know they didnt have any mashed potatoes left. Also, they only take cash or checks. Read moreWe're "out of towners" and we absolutely loved this place. It's everything a small town diner should be with good home-cooked food, excellent service and great prices. My husband and I both had the outlaw steak sandwiches (delicious!) and I had perfectly cooked onion rings for the side. One of children had amazing pancakes with a giant sausage patty that were both some of the best we've ever had! Another kids had a huge omellete (3 little pigs) stuffed full of bacon, sausage and ham. Kudos to keeping small town small town Cole's! Hope we get back...
