We stayed at the Sienna on the Coast, unit 904, Sept 14 – Sept 20, 2025 at a cost of $3,200.
The BBRR websites says “All our units have stunning beach views from private balconies perfect for a breakfast watching the sun rise over the water, or an evening chat while the water captures all the hues of the setting sun.” What they don’t tell you is that the building sits right on Beach Drive (US Route 90) which is the main drag along the Biloxi/Gulfport coast. Good luck with that evening chat from the balcony because the road noise (even on the 9th floor) is unbelievably loud making normal conversation without raising your voice difficult. A loud motorcycle or emergency vehicle is deafening. You also have RR tracks and a fire station within a couple of blocks contributing to the noise. One picture of the beach on their website does show a small section of road in the foreground, but no traffic is visible. I find this lack of transparency misleading.
The indoor pool and hot tub were out of commission. BBRR had not bothered to inform us at any time. I was looking forward to the hot tub to offer some relief from the stiffness and soreness after a 12 hour drive, some relief during the week when my back was acting up and after a long walk along the beach. Had I known this, we likely would not have stayed here. I was told someone from BBRR would call me to discuss this but I received no call.
There was confusion regarding the code for the gate and the building making getting in upon arrival difficult. On Wednesday morning, the code to the gate was not working and I had to go inside the building to find someone to open the gate. Instead of apologizing for my troubles, HOA employee Mellissa chastised me for parking at the gate for the 90 seconds it took for her to open the gate. The code to the pool gate was not working Wednesday afternoon, forcing my wife to walk around the building to the front entrance.
The unit itself had NUMEROUS deficiencies from leaking faucets, rotten egg smelling water, broken bathroom fixtures, large unsightly carpet stains, dated and worn furniture inside and on the balcony, unable to get TV to show local channels using instructions provided, TV remote control batteries dead, no hot water in Master bathroom shower, etc. There are many more, but too many to list here due to character limitations.
HOA employee (Melissa) seemed to relish chastising me for HOA rule infractions (leaning on the wall in the pool and parking my van at the gate when I had to go inside due to the malfunctioning gate), but she says it’s OK for the HOA Manager to illegally park in the shaded a fire zone.
The building itself, the grounds, common areas and outdoor pool were very nice.
I asked 3 times for someone from BBRR to call me to discuss these concerns. No one bothered to call. For $3,200/week in the off season, this place was a major disappointment and grossly overpriced. I asked for a 25% refund, but it fell...

The grounds and pool area are very nice. The unit that we stayed in was ok. I did contact them before we arrived to clarify where to park. I had not heard back from anyone so I emailed a second time to find out about parking and I did receive a reply and the parking was nice and easy. A couple days later I guess it was the first email replied and told me different information. We were able to get that cleared up and I think it was due to some issues with the link that didn't have the correct information but they did fix that and it looks correct now. I understand how that stuff goes so not a big deal. When we were returning to the complex on Monday or Tuesday we entered the code for the gate the attendant stopped and asked me for my parking pass. I said I didn't receive a pass and he looked in the booth and came out with my pass which actually had all of the information I needed for parking. Upon arrival into the unit it was easy to enter and nice and cool. I did contact them about the condition of the balcony furniture which is actually rusting into a pile on the balcony and the cushions were just worn out. I understand that the the unit is individually owned and they contacted the owner about that but either way it was in bad condition and we had to put our towels on the chairs to even feel better about sitting on the chairs. We do travel quite a bit and use vacation rentals the majority of the time. This unit looks like it has just been a rental for a long time and could use some attention. The tile on the floor in the kitchen is coming loose from the floor and a possible safety concern in the shower was that the drain cover was not attached and was slippery. There are multiple light bulbs out in the unit that should probably be replaced and several of the light bulbs start flashing like a strobe light! The kitchen was equipped pretty well except that the unit has 1 regular drinking glass available. There are other glasses available just could probably use a few more regular glasses. I just wanted to mention the items above but I don't want you to think we didn't enjoy our stay. It was a nice stay and visit to the area. I know a few people with vacation rentals and some time they are just not aware of some of the small things that are easily...
Read moreApril, 2nd was shown unit 204 by Shawna, was given a rate for the time we wanted in 2021. Shawna then requested information from us that included my credit card number. This was all done in her office. Shawna then stated she would do a contract and send it to me by e-mail. We were staying at the same building (Ocean club). I was to sign the contract and send it back. Early the next morning Shawna called with the bait and switch. Shawna stated she had given me the wrong rate and stated we would have to come up with another $1400 for our stay. I advised her that that was too much and to just cancel our request. She advised that she had already charged my credit card $2,250.00 for the deposit. I have not signed for anything. she promised to reverse the credit card. On April 7th contacted my credit card company and they stated , the charge was never reversed. April 7th called Shawna's supervisor Marie, who stated Shawna can only make charges but only Marie can do reverse charges. Marie was nasty and stated it would be at least two or three weeks before Marie would be at the office to do the reverse charge. Mastercard advised that was unreasonable, and stated I needed to do a dispute on the charge against Biloxi Beach Resort rentals, and not wait two or three weeks. As of today, April 13th they still refuse to reverse the charge. do to the fact That I never signed for anything, and didn't authorize the charge, I am going to make a fraud complaint with the Biloxi Beach police department. The Ocean club is a beautiful place, however don't make the same mistake I did and use the Biloxi Beach Resort Rentals to...
