Budget Inn — Hotel in Hamilton Township

I’m not one to even give bad reviews because honestly when you pay cheap More than likely you’re going to get cheap service cheap quality which is understandable but what I find totally disrespectful is that we were nothing but kind, upfront and honest to the manager and the owner of the establishment. We’ve stayed here numerous times with no issues clean rooms, all right service but this last time they overcharged us for a room (non-smoking) And had to pay a deposit(25.00) for smoking even though we do not smoke cigarettes. we checked out and had them check the room out so we could get our deposit back; mind you we cleaned the room before we left, took the trash out, made sure it was spotless because that’s just how we are as people.!The owner proceeds to come in the room check the linen and the white towel that had one dirt streak on it started to yell at my father and I saying we are dirty white people and we are not allowed to have our deposit back because the towel was destroyed. I proceeded to say no I want my deposit back the room is spotless no smoke and we rightfully earned our deposit back, then a lady (maid) came out and started yelling at me and told us we are no longer to come back to that establishment because of a dirty towel they called us slurs and they disrespected us. This was the most horrible motel experience my father and I have ever experienced and I’m sorry for the one manager that has to put up with the owner mentally abusing him right in front of us! The nice manager gave our deposit back as the owner and lady were mumbling slurs under their breath while he was giving our deposit back. That owner does not deserve to have that establishment horrible horrible...

It was a good experience at the budget inn. On st rt 23south in lockbourne Ohio. We stayed here for the first time about3-4 weeks ago. Me and my wife just a little get away from everything and everyone!!! At that time we only stayed1 night. After that first stay we kinda liked it!! It's super quiet, very laid back place to stay. The management doesn't bother you and they don't rush you like most hotels -motels when it's time to check out they're not down your throat kicking you out!!! I remember this very well cause that first time we stayed we over slept a little bit and told them that we're getting all our stuff loaded in the truck out the room and didn't actually get all the way checked out of the room till almost11:20 and They said no problem we're not rushing you make sure you get allllll your personal belongings and we'll see you next time??? And sure enough the very next week we stayed2 nights!! Great...

This hotel worked out well for me last night because I was traveling alone and I was just looking for a clean and cheap hotel to get some rest. I wouldn’t bring my wife here because, even though it was clean, it felt a little cramped and shabby. ||The staff was friendly. The towels and linens were all clean and fresh. The bed was comfortable. The flatscreen TV had a nice assortment of channels and a good picture. The mini fridge and microwave in the room worked just fine. The bathroom was really really tiny. It was only about 4 feet wide and, when sitting on the toilet, my shoulder touched the wall on one side and the sink on the other. The step in the shower had a very low showerhead that would be perfect as long as you were 5’8” or shorter. The carpet was worn and a bit stand and spots, but it seemed clean.||Overall, I felt rested and the room was worth the $55 dollars that I paid, but...
