From the look of the beautiful log cabin pictures, you think it's a nice place. Maybe that part of it is, but unless you know you're staying in that building (there are a few on the property), I'd advise against staying here. My family and I have stayed here twice (both times we ended up in the old building out back). The first time was many, many years ago. We had a local wedding to go to, and it was all that was available. I remember not liking it very much. When we needed to stay somewhere again in the area (years after the first visit), we figured we'd give it a try because so much time had passed. Boy was I wrong! It was worse than I remember. The building out back is so old and rickety, you feel like you might go through the floor. It also slants which makes you dizzy. There were no batteries in the smoke detectors, and food had been left in the refrigerator freezer so the whole thing had frozen over and we couldn't use it. There was mouse poop in all the cupboards that had the pots and pans that come with the kitchenette. We had planned on making dinner in the room, but because everything was dirty and unsanitary, we had to find an alternative option (an extra cost we weren't planning on). My sister's bed frame fell apart too. Thank goodness my Dad can fix things and often brings tools when we go on camping trips. He was able to fix her bed, but what a pain. The whole place just felt super gross, and we didn't even sleep under the blankets. We stayed in our clothes and left as early as we could the next morning. We complained to the manager and they didn't even offer to give us our money back, even though they had employees come to our rooms to clean things up. Instead, they offered us fifty dollars off on our next stay there. We absolutely will never go back, not even if it's the last choice. I don't want to give this place any stars, but you have to pick at least one to post your review. Good luck...you've...

Overall a nice place to stay. It was exactly what we needed, a decently priced place to stay with pretty good reviews. We arrived late so our keys were in the key drop box. We stayed in one of the jacuzzi units. It was nice to have the driveway go up back and park right in front of the unit we were staying in. One of the chairs in the room had a large stain on it. Only complaint is that there was only two tiny pillows on the bed. It would have been nice if there was another two in a closet or something. I’m sure we could have asked the office for two more, but a short trip to WalMart and we got a couple $4 pillows to fix that. The one thing I was bummed out about was we didn’t get any room service the whole stay. It would have been nice if there was a card to put on the door to request room service or something, but there was not. I had to go into the office twice to ask for extra towels, but nobody came to pick the dirty ones up until we left. The jacuzzi tub was large and enjoyable. Overall a decent place to stay. I would definitely rate a bit higher if there was a room service that came to the room and made the bed to get our new towels and empty the trash daily. I would like to give the staff a second chance, but I wouldn’t stay again if they didn’t get that...

I will absolutely stay here again + recommend to others, especially folks wanting to travel with their dog. It can be hard to find well-cared for places to stay when adventuring with your pet, but Nootka is a gem!

I stayed 2 nights in a pet friendly room, and was happily surprised to find it was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever had! Notable call out: my bathroom sink, tub, and toilet were shiny, sparkly clean. The bed was comfortable enough (I slept through the night without pain), my room was warm and cozy when I arrived, and I had everything I needed in the room upon arrival (e.g. luggage rack, clean mini fridge, microwave, working TV, iron/ironing board, plenty of hot water for a full shower). I was in a ground floor unit, and yes, I could hear the people above me walking around etc. But I am used to living with upstairs neighbors, so it wasn't out of the ordinary and they didn't keep me awake-- the entire grounds were quiet by bedtime. Staff were friendly, check-in/check-out was a breeze. Location was perfect for exploring the beautiful area-- we were not a far drive from places to eat, shop, or sightsee.

Thank you, Nootka Lodge! I...

When my family and I arrived we had wanted a balcony room which we got. The balcony was covered in snow so we were unable to use it and also the guest before us had urinated all over the balcony so this was definitely a thumbs down. The ceiling fan has not been cleaned in months and has cobwebs and dust filth at least a quarter inch thick. In fairness the ceiling fan is on a cathedral ceiling and hard to get to although this is why maintenance should have a ladder. Other than these two really down issues the beds were pretty comfortable the bathroom was very spacious. The rooms could use an update there was a tear in the bedspread and also cracks down the door of the bathroom so any guest could see into whoever was in the bathroom.

It’s a nice lodge and very cozy. I stayed here for race near this area and it was good. They had beverage area with vending machine and outdoor pool, pool table, gym and jacuzzi room. I played some game at pool table room and it was fun. People are nice and friendly and place is well maintained and clean but you can hear some noise from other rooms pretty well. I was okay but if you’re sensitive about noise when you sleep it can bother you a little bit😅 except for that problem everything was great. It’s a beautiful place!

The Lodge was a very quaint place to stay for our little family vacation. They were reasonably priced which can be hard to find when you're a family of 7. Our room was in a building with only one other room, the game room/gym, and sauna so we felt as though we had our privacy and as though we were not bothering other people. The balcony on the back was a nice hang out spot with stairs that bring you down so we had quick easy access to our vehicle when needed. We will absolutely stay here again.
