KonaHome Vacation Rental Kilohana Hale — Hotel in Hawaii

This was a great rental home for our first time in Kona. It was a large house and had a great location. The kitchen was nice and updated. The lack of actual air conditioning was a bummer, there were only window units and they didn't work very well. The one in our room would shut off and turn on randomly through the night with the temp set at an even 72 so we eventually just resorted to a fan. The pool and hot tub were great, my only complaint is that the only way to get to the pool is by a rocky bridge that wasn't so great for the older people who traveled with us. One odd thing about the house is the electrical, there wasn't much outside lighting by the pool and each room in the house had literally 10+ switches where half didn't do anything. The lanai was wonderful for drinking coffee in the morning and watching the sunset over dinner. Overall we were really happy with the place and the minor inconveniences were easy...

My husband and I got married this weekend, and this location was absolutely breathtaking. The view was indescribable. The home was perfect for our whole family. We had the "honeymoon" suite. It was very quiet and private. There was a perfect view of the sunset. The house location was perfect for those who wanted to hit the shops. You MUST book this home for your next vacation. The host was very attentive to our needs and concerns. There was very easy access to the main roads to travel the island. You will not be dissatisfied...

We were in Hawaii for my son's wedding, and we stayed at Emmy's house. The house was beyond our expectations! I especially loved the privacy of the pool, and the views of the ocean and beach. From her house the beach is just a short walk away! The house was fully equipped with everything you could ever need, and more, to make your stay there enjoyable!
