Villas at Mauna Kea — Hotel in Hawaii

I believe the mauna kea is actually the best place to stay on the big island. When I do stay there I stay in one of the villas. The four seasons is often considered "higher end" but to me the history and the upgrades made to the Campus make it #1 in my book. Plus. It could save you 2 or 3 thousand dollars...lol. if you go, rent a villa. So much more space and 10 or 12 of them have ocean views like unit 20. It also has the best beach on the island.
