Vagabond Inn Hemet — Hotel in Hemet

This place was absolutely disgusting, from beginning to end. Me and my family had a family emergency that called us to California and we booked 3 rooms at this place. Looking at the main lobby pic on their website it looked clean and professional but upon arriving it was an ABSOLUTE HORROR SHOW. My family and I arrived around 11pm and immediately upon arriving it was sketchy, people who look like they rent by the HOUR were hanging out outside. My wife and I then got into our room and immediately went to check the bed for bed bugs because we heard California had been dealing with that at their motels/hotels so just to be safe we decided to check. We didn't find any bugs, and thats the only positive thing I can truly say about this place. When we pulled back the bed spread, there were SEVERAL knife stab like cuts in the blanket, and that was just the first foot and a half of the blanket I flipped over, I hadn't even checked this whole blanket out, I had already seen enough in the ft and a half that I did turn over. There were cigarette burns as well in the blanket everywhere, I MEAN EVERYWHERE!! And then I noticed..bleach stains everywhere on this blanket, that mixed with the stab like cuts in the blanket was enough to set off every alarm possible in my body. I then headed to the bathroom and very quickly noticed the bathroom door looked like it had been kicked in, all of those factors put together it was so eery like someone had been murdered in there. I then called one of my sister and asked her what condition her room was in, she told to come to her room. Upon arriving I notice inside the room in the peep hole there was TOILET PAPER stuffed in it!! Im sorry but in California, I didn't find one fast food joint that you could dine in. From my understanding nail shops and places like that are still closed and in my state my children are still at home doing online schooling every weekday, so how has this place been allowed to stay open during this pandemic when it is apparent that they don't sanitize these rooms, they don't even properly clean them which brings be to the very last straw and the most disgusting thing I have EVER had to deal with at ANY establishment I have ever entered in my life! My sister called me over to her bathroom where located inside of what appears to be a metal tissue box installed into the sink/bathroom counter was a USED NEEDLE!! Someone was shooting up in that room and the people who "work" there didn't even bother to take it out of the room. Again, with the WORLD shut down due to Covid, how the is this place managing to stay open?!?! Needless to say we went to the office demanding a refund, considering it was a health hazard to even step foot in a room that junkies who shoot up has stayed in previously and nobody bothered to clean not one bit of that place before checking it out to the next customer. The third room btw smelt like somebody DIED. It wasn't a musty or stale smell, it was a "something died" smelled. Oh, thats not it either. We reserved "NON SMOKING" rooms and every room had a HEAVY cigarette smell, and although that was seriously the least of our worries that night, its still the PRINCIPLE! THATS NOT WHAT I RESERVED OR PAID FOR!!! Of course wanting a refund was out of their English vocabulary. They REFUSED to give us our money back. We had to leave, because there was no way in hell I was climbing in those beds, and with nowhere to go. We had to sit in a parking lot somewhere looking up other motels and then had to spend MORE money on another place. It was Motel 6 that was a TRUE LIFE SAVER!!!! I was so relieved to pull into Motel 6's parking lot, immediately I felt safe. Immediately I had a good feeling unlike my stomach immediately turning to knots just from pulling into Vaga'BULL$HIT'S parking lot! Oh and one more thing. The picture of the lobby on their website that I mentioned in the beginning, well obviously going INTO the office to try to get our money back we were able to see the lobby and IT WASNT EVEN THE SAME LOBBY! Where they got that picture from is beyond me but for sure, the picture listed under "Vagabond Inn in Hemet Ca" is 1000% NOT the actual place. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! Im including pictures too. Seriously, if you value your life, whether its your safety or health, DO NOT STAY AT VAGABOND...

GAGABOND! This by far was the WORST ever experience at a hotel, I don’t know where to start. First off I reserved a downstairs Non smoking @ $42 night plus tax, when we got there it was a smoking room. I parked the car 50’ away and when my wife opened the door I could literally smell the cloud of smoke pouring out of the room, everything we took into the room needed to be hosed down. When I looked at my credit card reciept he rang up $71 when I questioned him about it he told me all they had left was a king suite. Are you F@#$!&^% kidding me this is a king suite? The place a very cheaply constructed dump every time someone closed the door the whole place shook. The tweeker upstairs never stopped stomping around and I didn’t get a minute of sleep. The pervert next door keep going at it with his hooker making doggie noises whimpering, winning, barking them breaking out in slamming the bed against the wall, funny thing the next morning when I was loading up my car he came out with just himself and his dog. Oh the continental breakfast lol! A waffle iron a box of cheerios and sunny delight. I should have sleep in the car. ? This place does not deserve to even have 1 star. I stayed here in room #228 on June 8 2018. Customer service was ok although the rooms on the other hand are not. I became concerned when I was laying in bed I had ended up with 2 bites out of nowhere so i started looking at the reveiws and seen this place is known for bed bugs. My boyfriend and I lifted the blankets to check the beds and sure enough we found a bed bug running away. We immediately took our stuff and our kids and left and we requested a refund immediately. The guy gave us our refund and was not apologetic and had nothing to say about the situation. Dont stay at this place its infested with bed bugs. Make sure to always check reveiws. We did not find a hotel for us and our children till 3 Am because of this situation. Managment do not reply to me i seen your replies to others reguarding this same issue and take no responsibility for it. You lie and tell people you dont rent out rooms that have bed bugs but you do and you did to us knowing you guys have them and if one room has them all rooms that share joining walls to infested rooms have them they spread like crazy.
