What to say I have had some of the food only 3 times and all 3 times it was like hospital food, very bland . I went because It was suppose to be some really good karaoke. I was raise not to be a judge of persons, Like God is not a ' respector of persons', and there are lots of mixed couples in my family; so lets be clear on that before I go any further as this location is run in house my want seem to be all persons of Spanish decent. Now the system they have is great n they can get almost any song u want. The problem is the lady running it, like her male counter parts says " she picks who sings next", no matter who or when you have sign in she says who sings next. I understand also the 2 languages singing n she will have the English go up, a few and then look out cause Spanish singing or speaking person will go and you will be made to wait n wait with all kinds of excuses on why u were made to wait. They take a 15 break and guess who sing 1st when they come bk , my friend was skipped on the list by at least 7 people and we pointed it out it was on well we will call u next and they had (guess what ) before they call her saying a new singer. I actually watch her go around the room asking the Spanish speaking people if they wanted to sing knowing we were still on the list waiting. The I first time I went there were 8 English speaking singer who noticed the problem. After hearing the reasoning (excuse) of how they had to go back and forth from English to Spanish ( if they did that there would be no problem lol ) I said I would be willing to give it another try . So I came back the following week. None, not one of the people who were offend the week before came back and they did the same again, I didn't even stay to do my last listed song. I sang 1 solo and I figures if I got a young man who was or seemed to be a reg, to do a duet with me I would not be made to wait as if I was not even there. So when they came back from their brake and because He said he was going to leave we went up. We like the others will not be returning and are letting our Karaoke community know how it is there. Read moreTonight, my husband and I came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We had been here not too long before and enjoyed our meal and the service. Of course we knew for Valentine’s Day it would be busy, so we called ahead to find out if we needed a reservation. They told us since it was just the two of us we would just be walk-ins, which was fine of course. When we got there, we gave them our name. They told us it would be 20 minutes. We waited 20 minutes. 40 minutes. One hour…: at one point we noticed as a couple whose picture we took for them in front of the sign had not only been called back, but they had dined, finished their meal and were now leaving the restaurant. We went up to the front to check on our wait time and the lady asked if we were a party of 4. We explained to her that we were walk-ins and she told us that they were very busy and they could add us to the list, but they could not tell us how long it would be. The same two young ladies had been serving other people at that same desk and watched us the whole time, as we had been sitting directly across from them. My husband saw her write our name down, and it was crossed off when we got upfront. Rather than admit their mistake, they just told us that they were busy and did not make any other accommodation for us. Since we were hungry, we decided we would go somewhere else to try and eat, and my husband went upfront to let them know we were leaving. The girl did not respond to him, she just stared at him. It not seem to matter to her that we were leaving, and it gave us the impression that she thought we were being dishonest about how long we had to wait. Read moreThis is regarding a recent dinner experience at El Patron. We came in at around 6:30 and sat at a table in the bar area. Sonya was our server. She was new so we gave her some grace but it ended up being ridiculous how poor our service was. We started out with no menus and had to request them. She did not know what kind of margaritas were in the flights. She did not know that you were out of the happy hour chicharone tacos. She did not know how many tacos were in the fish taco order. When the wings came out, we had no napkins, no plates, no silverware, we ordered ranch and blue cheese and finally got ranch (after a considerable wait) but no blue cheese. We asked for plates and napkins multiple times. She could not multitask and would go back and forth to the kitchen for each table one at a time. We ordered table-side guacamole but never got chips to eat them with. We asked & waited for about 15 minutes, and finally my fiancé had to peek his head in the kitchen and ask for chips. No one ever bussed the dirty dishes from our table so we had to do it ourselves. The bartender eventually started bussing tables and checking on people because she said she knew the server was “struggling”. We had to request our check because she never brought it out, then she had to go back and fix it because the chicharone taco was still on the check. We are not satisfied with our experience.
