Up Up and Away Lodging — Hotel in Hermann

Loved our stay at this B & B. We had booked 1 night but after seeing how much there was to do, we added on one more night. Loved the pool and hot tub area and had it just to ourselves a lot. They offered many amenities, fridge was stocked with drinks, plenty of towels and comfortable bed and room overall. Loved how they seemed to have thought of every detail....even stuff for s’mores for the firepit they get ready for you. Best part were the incredible views from the property and loved watching the beautiful sunsets. Will definitely come back and recommend to anyone. Had a great time in Hermann. Saturday was very full of Bachelorette parties, but Sunday was much more laid back. Enjoyed doing the Hermann farm |tour where we got to learn more of the history of the area and loved seeing the beautiful Shire horses. Hidden gem of a winery was Oak Glenn. Luckily some ladies on our tour told us about it and the view off the bluff was amazing. Only drawback for me is all the German food, which I’m not a huge fan of ...but you can search out other options. Still had more to see, so will...

We just spent our 21st anniversary in the deck suite and loved it. I have never stayed anywhere that had so many extras and thought of so many details: s’mores kits, popcorn, a beach bag with towels, cooler, plastic wine glasses, sunscreen and bug spray. We enjoyed our private deck and the view was spectacular. We used Uber for less than 10 dollars for 2 people into town. Breakfast was good-not like some of the gourmet breakfasts we’ve had in Hermann but no complaints. Loved that they brought it to us! The pool and hot tub were so relaxing. We had it to ourselves the first night but I admit I was not excited the second night; the pool and hot tub were FULL and even had a couple of kids. Don’t get me wrong-we love kids (have a ton of them) but I was surprised kids are allowed at a bed and breakfast in Hermann. My wife Teresa and I have stayed here for many years. This place is great! We stayed in the deck suite not attached to the house for the first time and it was awesome! Great views and it has 2 bathrooms, plus a jacuzzi tub in an area by itself! Nice kitchen with stove and full-size refrigerator/freezer! Great people! Beth has always been wonderful and sweet little old Mary Ann, just amazing! We really enjoyed our time as always! We especially want to Thank Justin! He was so accommodating to us and always had a fire going for us at night! He does such a great job around the place and takes so much Pride in what Beth has created at Up Up and Away.
